3000 mile 48 hour mission OH to FL

i know i agree completely. but i am not sure these kids really have any clue. 48 hours is about as fast as you can drive 3000 miles. its just the way it is. they wont be able to stop. its driving, gas, switch, sleep, repeat until you are home. its 34 hours straight to drive 2500 from NH to UT on i-80 which is a very high travelled road and meant to go places fast. 500 miles takes at least 10 more hours...sweet so they have 4 hours to site see? and if they have never road tripped they are likely going to think they can stop more than they can. sorry to be a realist. but 48 hours in a mustang would SUCK

well we almost two hours in and its pretty great, so far. Just passed kings island amusement park near cincinnati.

One of these...

The trip looks epic! I love car trips.

sounds fun! its gonna suck when you finally get to key west tho and you have to turn around and leave as soon as you get there

You must stop and party at least in couple locations. The best part about the gumball 3000 is the partying then having to drive the next day

Expand on how this is doing something with your life?

College is doing something with your life...

Getting an internship is doing something with your life...

Driving 3,000 miles in 48 hours? I Don't think i will include that in the category.

Stupid goal is stupid, but if you have fun driving with friends go for it.

love the discussion guys, keeping us entertained. so far we are about 6.5 hours in with about a 70 mph average.

No i don't lol. I skied 125 days this year going to the u of u.

Just don't see this as "doing something with your life" Couch or a car, hes still sitting for 48 hours, there isn't much room for anything besides driving there mate.

Might as well play cod for 48 hours and save a few hundred dollars in gas money lol.

no, you're right, going on an epic trip and seeing tons of cool shit while doing it all at a ridiculous pace is pretty much the exact same thing as sitting on a couch at home.

Just because you're sitting in a car doesn't mean you aren't doing something awesome.

i agree with this. its like driving by the grand canyon and not getting out of the car or something like that cuz you have to keep driving to meet your goal

I am not sure how to add because I am doing this on my phone but look for the group Florida 3,000 become a fan or join the group.

Well we are fast approaching the everglades right now. I did the night shift and smoked a giant raccoon which busted the lower part of the front bumper and bent in the radiator. She is still going strong though!

Well Florida drivers are crazy so we just find a guy driving real fast and follow them. We made real good time, the owner of the car had an average speed of 82.6 but fuel econ was 19 mpg.

More pics to come.
