i have 300 to replace my dynastar 175 trouble makers with nova 11s. Im looking for something bigger than 174. I can make do without bindings. Park Pipe ski similar to Public Enemies for a few years ago or even Public enemies themselves

Im 6 foot 160lbs and tend to ride park a lot but also on some groomers and ice, I live in Central New York

Would silencer be a good fit

with your budget i'd say just get some invaders or silencers. on the east coast the skiing is gonna suck anyway so that doesnt matter, and both those will be plenty fun in the park and super cheap. if your plan is to use those novas I'd try to save up some dough and invest in some p12s or something, but that's your call though i'm sure the novas are plenty functional.

well then if you got 300 i'd just go to a shop and pick up some silencers. only really talked to one kid who's ridden them but he liked them and he's around your size. and for 300 bucks... pretty cool deal.

T-halls with P12 Jib for $300 shipped isn't a good deal? That's a high-end ski and will last way longer than a silencer or those other low-end sticks, and the P12 is a super solid binder, I'd seriously consider these if I were you.

Yeah but as i said i spend time out of the park and those thalls are fairly old. I got a good deal with the 06/07 p12's and some 04/05 scratchs that are in wrapper and im taking that i think.

Problem with the thalls is that the rounded edges are not what im looking for

yeah the p12's are legendary, but i gotta start from scratch cause my friend wants his skis back. the thalls are just too park for me right now, i need something a little stiffer that isnt a noodle

yeah i know i do rails and the trouble makers edges are pretty much shit, but i like the way they feel stiff, i dont need a really buttery ski

compared to my friends ar5's, my trouble makers are 2x4's they are the 03/04's with the pearlescent paint and the green guy. i can butter on his ar5's like its not problem, but its a pain on the trouble makers, there is no way you can say they are soft

he speaks the truth.

i had troublemakers till saturday night when i sold them, and there pretty much the same flex. the tail in the thall is a tad softer, that just gives you better pop.

i dunno guys, im a little anti armada after watching an entire edge rip out. Unless they changed their edges i dont trust them

im not trying to pressure you or anything man but i doubt you will have any problems with the edges on these skis. you're light like me and the most you'll be able to do is put another crack in an edge. i mean how much did that kid weigh that pulled the edge? armadas had trouble the first year but since then i have herd very few problems with the skis. and there will always be some problems. just something to keep in mind.

he was like 135 and was on 170's ar5's. but doing some research i see they actually changed the edges from straight to notched and they reach deeper into the base. This decision is gettng hardr

dude if you can get scratch fs for the same price as used thalls that's pretty much a no brainer just get the scratches.

yeah man, my friend has the 03/04 TM's and i have 05/06 t-halls, and i can butter ok on my t-halls, but its easy as pie on the Tm's, they r sooooooooooo much softer than my t-halls its rediculous

thats a rip off and a half oyu can get last years t-halls for around 250 and great bidings for 100 or under...your skis are 3 years old and are used lower your price alot if you want to sell... If anyone buys these skis you are fucken retarted

what decent binding can you get for 100 bucks that will preform on the same level as the p 12 jib? don't tell me a px because they are not nearly the same quality as the jib. and where can you get last years t-hall for that? cause npm works at a shop and he is selling them for 349. i think in this case you are the fuckin' retard man. 300 shipped is a very fair price because it will be around 50-60 bucks to ship them. they are also fully tuned and waxed which is 40-50 bucks. so you're relay paying 200 for the set up. learn to not be a fucking retard and go running your moth.

T-halls are a nice ski, and I've never seen them for $250 anywhere, so I dunno what the hell that guy is talking about. They aren't as soft as people make them sound either, my buddy rode his all-mountain with no issues at all...AR5 was his beater/park ski, and when it snowed he'd break out the T-halls, so I think they'd be fine. The P12 Jib is a solid binding for sure, FAR better than the new PX design. Not saying you should buy them if you don't want to...but it's a good deal.
