300 sucked

the only part i didnt like

was the ending

it was pretty lame for an ending for such an epic movie

If you got hung up on the minor historical inaccuracies then you were bound to dislike "300."

However, if you can accept those and deal with it you will see 300 for what it is: An epic movie with the best battle sequences in years (and possibly ever.) Even if you thought the plot was weak, this movie set a new standard for graphics and choreography. It will revolutionize movie making.
 
r u kidding? 300 was an amazing movie, i wanna be a fuckin spartan now!! im gunna try and do some of their workout, to get in shape for their movie, i found it on some site.
 
well if it was like a million on 260 and they were surrounded no doubt they died mad quick. haha what did u expect like a 30 minute battle scene
 
A firend of mine has a very compelling theory based on the notion that a person's intelligence is inversely proportional to how good a movie they think 300 is. I'm really buying into it lately.
 
I think I'll make it a separate thread so we can gather more data. I need to make a graph first though.
 
i've heard a variation of this theory, only it's how indie a person is, and the movie is donnie darko.
 
i think it was pretty good

the sketchy sex scene made everyone hate it and there was a lack of a plot, but all in all it was good

not epic but up there with the better movies
 
hahahah i love it when the wife (cant remember her name) turns around doggy style during the sex scene. her facial expression was so funny
 
it was only 60% awesome, not 100% like they made it out to be. Every scene with his wife was horrible.
 
The movie was awesome if you like seeing guys killed with spears, knives, and swords. It's visually appealing, and makes you say "hooo shit" when another dude gets his guts split. That's about as far as I'll go. Visually appealing with a side of "hahaha that guy just got split open."
 
that shit sucked, if you wanbt to see lots of animated computer persians getting killed for 2 hours then go for it. seriusouly all that shit is it long spear stab fake computer blood spilll fake spear stab fake comptuer blood spill that shit sucks ass the plot it just an exusce to say the movie is good and if you seriously think 300 is a movie worthy of best movie ever contention you would have to be a fuckasssss
 
yah, too ban that you missed starting to train for war when you were 13... and even though i havent seen it i'm assuming that there probialy were black people back then... there may not have been alot, but they were obviously there... just like jesus was most liekly a black man... think about it...

After we got out of the theatre, someone rightly said "Well that was good, assuming you like seeing a guy do this (makes spear-thrusting motion) for two hours." My only comment was that it was aptly titled, because Sin City was 300 times better.

Seriously if you're into the violence, just watch Sin City. It had violence AND writing!
 
No it wasn't.

And the reason I mention Sin City is because it was the other Frank Miller movie. And it wasn't stupid. 300 was.
 
it's spposed to look like the novel. exaaggerated blood and all those shinanigans.

i didn't go to see that movie or a plot, i went see that plot for some awesome battles. i'd have ot say i was very content with it because it had exactly what i was thinking it would have. sick killing. if i want a good plot i'd watch something else
 
Myabe you assholes can stop pretending to be so caught up about storytelling and admit that you were entertained.

The Spartans fucked shit up and that all that matters, who cares about historical accuracy and which movie was better it was still fun to watch.
