~300$ lens for T2i / EOS 550D ?

yeah go for the 28 f/2.8 or f/1.8 - its like a 200 dollar price diference between the two. Obvy the 1.8 is a bit of a better lens, but the 2.8 is great too.
 
Holy shit that shot is amazing. I might want to get that lens just because of that sick distortion haha. Is anyone selling a 8mm fisheye here on NS?
 
Just slapped the Canon 40mm f/2.8 on my t3i and I love it. Razor sharp images and pretty speedy AF. I recommend it, but idk if it would meet your needs as an all-arounder
