crazier things have happened, and lets remember that the mountwashington is where tuckermans is. and they have snow till june. its not that far fetched

Im headin to the Island friday to surf but now im reconsidering bringing my skiis instead!
 
As dope as that sounds I gotta call bullshit on that.. I live like 15 mins from the base of Mt.Washington and I was a liftie on that lift all last winter. My god I wish that was true but there is not a chance in hell. Plus you can clearly see where he photoshopped over the date on the webam pic.
 
I'm gonna call bullshit on you being a lifty, all lifties at washingotn are from australia, and everyone on vancouver island is stoked about the sudden snowfall, keep the negativity to a minumum please, it might rain tonight (knock on wood), and I can't have that happening.

it snowed last night at like 2 degrees, now it's like 14 outside, the top of the mountain has got to be like...5?

pray it stays dry for me
 
same with us but we always have a bunch of snow left over, they just stop making money off of the day users and only the seasons pass holders come up, so they close.

there's some myth about the vancouver island marmots making it close early but that's not really true, the owners even said it's because they stop making money
 
wait...we close mid april.

april 16th this year.

and the snow usually lasts until like...june 10-15th I think. this is far from ordinary.

it should be gone in a few days anyway, live it up for now though
 
those web cams only show the base, where obviously it rained. I just heard on the road report quite a few of the passes got snow.
 
the webcams show a view to the peak as well.. plus the whole mtn is like 500 ft vertical so there isn't a whole lot of temp change from the base to the peak... honestly do you really think there'd be 30cm fresh on a 5700ft. mtn when its 24 degrees in town?

yeah, its crazy in victoria right now. Usually its pretty mild but its freezin down here. And they are calling for colder temperatures this weekend.
