3 trouble- specific

I looked at all the other threads and didnt seem to find anything that pertained exactly to this, if so feel free to delete. I am extremely comfortable spinning up to 630's off rails but I can even 3 a jump consistently. I am fine doing 180's over jumps of any size. When I do 1's I pop hard off my right foot and spin left. spin left. When I go to three I cannot figure out how to pop. I feel like I always start to rotate and catch edges as I take off, and if I do manage to whip it around (all penciled and stupid) I land laying on my tails and my shins are so murdered I'm in excruciating pain. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help

1)try no to take off one foot2)left arm straight out in front 3)Right arm straight out the side 4)now when you pull your ams in make sure not to drop them
when you spin you got to keep things straight. head up eyes up arms level to the ground to set
when you spin off the jump and one of the above drops it will un balance the trick

to take off bolth feet you kneed to use your hole body. shoulders knees and toes should line up from top to bottom. poping is like a forward and upward thrust from the hipps that will drive you away from the kicker and to the landing.
try some straight air tuck jump first to get thing working together.
and when you spin dont look at your feet.
spot at 180

hands forward for the landing

Yes for spinning left. Used this advice today and again I was in a weird situation. I was 3 tapping over a bonk all day no problem, but had problems still with straight up jumps. I feel like it was because I was forced to pop up and over the bonk and I looked down at it for the tap, therefore spotting my spin. Guess I just gotta keep practicing. Thanks

instead of making a new thread i thought i would add to this one because its kind of the same problem im having.

so at mount snow today i was trying 3's and sw 5s but whenever i came around i always started floating off axis like feet toward the bottom of the landing landing on my side. i can stomp 1's, zeros sw 1s and 3s most of the time. i try to pop and keep my balance foward but i always seem to float off axis. sorry for not that good of a description turpin but any tips about how to land these tricks because i would really like to get these really down so i can move onto more advanced spins and throwing grabs in with them

ya I'm in the same boat with my 3's, I either go off axis or I land wayyy backseat and get bad shin bang

so I had to think about this for some time but i think I know what your doing wrong. when you come into the jump is your chest down and head up or is your hear down and your chest upright. Im sure your doing one, or the other so. To fix that line up your shoulders knees and toes in a up right line. keeping your vision up looking out to the horizion. The corking is coming from an unbalanced body position.CCCR let me know if that help

same problem as above, getting 3s round but landing so backseat. advice i was given was try to keep my shoulders level, or even try and keep my right shoulder (spinning to the left) down a bit like rotate it diagonally across to my left armpit and look with my head. didn't really have enough time to implement the advice but yea is it good advice?

Spin with your hips. The first few 3's I tried I either set the spin way too hard and went off axis, or got my upper body around but not quite my lower body and I would land on my tails an wash out. My problem was I was so concentrated on leading with my head and spotting my landing that I was forgetting to spin with the rest of my body.
