I was poking around on evo and their outlet has 3 bindings in the 150$-165$ range.

px 12 series (do the look/ dynastar ones differ at all?)

Rossignol Freeski2 120

salomon z12 ti

and whats up with the boner heelpieces? are they really necessary?

What skis are you putting these on? How much do you weigh?

I wouldn't highly recommend any of the above bindings. I've had a few pairs of 12 din look/rossi and they held up alright. My z12's were pretty aweful.

Id say the rossi look and dynastar ones are all going to be about the sameI just wouldn't get the salomons

haha allright, I would have thought the salomon's would be better cause ns seems to truly despise any px series binding, thanks.

if you're asking questions like these, i'd be willing to bet the PX bindings will be fine. i have px14s on my obsetheds and they work great. i've had no issues with durability after they changed the heel to a wormscrew instead of the tab, so just make sure you get the PX12/SAS120 with the wormscrew heel. it's reinforced on the sides and is generally more solid, but a little heavier. stay away from the z12 at all costs. it's a plastic toy.

PX12's and Rossignol Freeski 120's are the same binding, but labeled differently. Both are a solid choice, though i would not recommended the Z12's as they are not durable at all.
