2ways to do a rodeo 720

i was reading the spring issue of sbc skier and i compared seth morrisons rodeo 720 on page 1-2 and Errol Clarks rodeo 720 in the trick tutorial on page 56. At the begining of seths spin he clearly drops his right shoulder to throw himself off axis but errol drops his left shoulder and it looks different and they both spinning clockwise, so whats the deal? i dont think K2 would get a rodeo mixed up with something else

its an E-roll in SBC. its actually his own lil variation. like a skodeo. and morrisons rodeo's are weird anyways

it's not that k2 doesn't know what a rodeo is, or that seth doesn't know what a rodeo is. it's just that seth has a different way of throwing it. i haven't seen the magazine, but i'd imagine that errol clark's rodeo is probably just thrown a bit smoother, and since seth's rodeos are kinda hucked, that's probably why they look different.

correct it does say the e-roll but i didnt know why thy would try to teach a variation

my favourite variation of a rodeo is jon kozody's off of a bc booter in strike 3. he does a 180, lincoln, 180...soo smooth and different.

Yeah there are definetly many wayike the way Abma does 'em. He did a rodeo 3 which is on the K2 factory site it's weird. I never thought those could be done but that's what it is.

the only difference in the different ways people throw rodeos is at what point of the spin they go inverted. some go inverted right away, some delay it, but they're all still rodeos. unless it's flat, of course.

is a rodeo 7 a lincoln loop to delayed 3 or a lincoln loop while spinning a 7? i always get confused and am confused right now
 
everyone does tricks different, this isnt diving or ariel skiing, everyone does things a little different dont worry about names and worry about making it look good
 
Yep, everyone is calling their tricks something different or making up some crazy name for a slight variation. What everyone calls a rodeo now is quite different from what people called a rodeo 5-6 years ago (Szocs, Auclair, Sprang, Cusson era). Just make 'em stylie and I don't care much what you call them.
