2nd rail

you might remember my first rail attempt,, well i was so sure that i had it this time,, wow so wrong,, skiis flew out again and i landed on my ribs,, the most painful thing I can remember, had to hit the Norway ME hospital for some pain killers,, i hope the third try goes better,, in a couple weeks

 
i'm an old man at 28, and i do have to say all the kids that were there at sunday river were very cool, helped pick up my mess,, damn this hurts

keep tryin and dont focuse on the negative. learn from your mistakes and put that behind you. Don think of that before hitting it or youll go down. picture yourself greasing it. I hit one pain in the ass downslope rail and leaned back too far and my skis slid out from under me. I tried it 4 times in like 10 minutes and the last three i fell my hip smashed the rail extremely hard....thats no fun..

 
yeah, this one might stick in the mind since i cant really breath without vicadin,,

but yeah i always think i'm gonna nail it,, i guess thats why it hurts so much,, i dint really expect it

 
ill bet you kept your feet too close together. everyone does that when theyre learning. keep your feet apart and your stance low.
