Looking at 2L and 3L bibs and can’t decide if there is a huge difference. Kinda leaning towards a 2L 15k/15k rating but not sure if I’m making the right choice. Anything helps!

14242363:FitzRoy said:They both just have one membrane. 3L is face fabric-membrane-liner while 2L is face fabric-membrane. 2L is generally cheaper and heavier since they usually have insulation or mesh to prevent membrane contamination. Unless you’re concerned about weight and packability, the 2L will probably provide the most value.
