it was out in the uk a year or two ago. my buddy saw it and said it was the best zombie flick hes ever seen.

It was probably one of the most innovative zombie movies I have ever seen.

I went to see it for it's entertainment value, but I got much more out of it. It is actually fairly deep for a zombie movie....

and those zombies kicked ass, they fucking hauled ass.

it's not really a zombie movie, it's a movie about human nature and survival. It was one of the best movies I've ever seen. The cinematography was excellent. The movie wasn't really too scary. A lot of idiots are not going to like the movie because they think they are going to a horror movie, not a movie where it requires u to think. The ending was a litle strange though after the car accident. and I would deffinatly bone Hannah.

it was incredibly good, i thought the ending was typical boyle. It actually foes get pretty deep, and a lotta the times i was thinkn, this exact thing can happen to us.

I saw it last friday and it was pretty good. Probably the best zombie movie I have ever seen. The only thing that pissed me off though was that in most of the movie it was really bad quality. Looked like it was filmed on VHS or somethin.

I know that it was filmed like that on purpose, but I just didn't like that they did that. It was really annoying to me. Its just my opinion.

 
I saw it last night and I thought the movie was great. Someone earlier in the thread said that was a typical ending for the director (Boyle?) What other movies has this guy made cause if they were half as good as this one then I wanna see them too.

This movie sucked ass. Not scary at all, no suspense, and there was only about 10 total minutes of hot hot hot zombie action. If I wanted to see a movie about human nature, I'd go watch the Deerhunter, or Apocalypse Now or a movie like that. I was promised 'a movie that reinvents the zombie genre', 'scary as hell'. 'I pissed my pants from sheer terror', and all I got was people talking about the faultiness of human nature and rape of minors. Honestly, don't tell me it's a zombie horror movie when it's a sci-fi movie that happens to include a couple weak-ass sick people.

That movie was fucked up, but I liked it. I got huge chills when Hanna was walking down the hall in that red dress.

I really don't get why they had to rape the girls. Couldn't they just wait. They'd eventually get horny anyway.

Believe it or not, guys can go more than 28 days without sex. Also the arguement that they had to reproduce immediately or go extinct doesn't work because reproduction is a long process (9 months if I'm not mistaken plus time for the kid to learn to defend themself).

I was a little disapointed with the storyline.. but on the contrary it was extremly well edited and goood very good cinematography. the whole human nature thing was good. but the ending and plot needed more developing.. My recommendation is its worth to go to the movies to see it.
