Hey guys ive got a question for you guys. Ive been doing 270's onto boxes this season no real problem...but cant get them onto rails.

Do you guys do them natural spin to unatural slide?

Or unatural spin to natural slide?

Ive always done nat to un-nat.. and just thought about it and think it would be easier to stick onto rails the other way.

Oh and I fucked around and got my first concussion last weekend throwing a 5 off a 20 ft. booter..My first serious ski injury ever. Thats how i know im going hard this year lol.

At least you're trying hard which is good, unlike many camping in the park :)Well, if your only problem is staying nicely unnatural on a rail, try hitting the rail straight unnat so you get used to the feeling of being unnat on a rail which I agree is slightly different then on a box !

Then since you know how to 27 on, I guess you'll just stomp the trick naturally !

I spin left and grind right foot back so for 270s on I've never had to do anything unnatural.

For you - maybe try some switch 270's as that will let you spin and grind natural

start rotating your head first and let your shoulders then hips then knees follow. by the time you have to worry about getting your skis on the rail you will have had plenty of time to spot your landing/rail.

i spin natural to unnatural slide

pop and use your core for the spin, not your arms. you really don't have to pop that hard if it's just a flat rail.

focus on locking your back foot on. your front foot will follow. because it's onto a rail you have to commit way more and can't swivel into the 2 like on a box
