pop on a little more than 90 so its easier and when you feel you get at the end of the rail just use your arm you throw with to help bring your spin around with your head

umm well if you wanna land foward, do what adrian said ^ land on the rail and continue to spin alittle in the direction your gonna spin off and just spin it

ive never tried a switch up, but i just did my first 270 off this season.

i cant spin onto a rail yet either.

ive been able to 270 onto rails, and 450 on boxes, and switch ups on both since last year, but i still cant do a fucking 270 off.

siick, i didnt think it was possible

you jsut gotta pop and spin, visualize it in your head before you do it tho

dude, if your doing 270 on a box, just stand there and your momentum brings it around. and 450 would make it even easier

try this, put your hands out in front of u and it kind of spins your body while your ont he rail, this will get you to pop off the rail better. Then you will get the feel for it and it will be a peice of cake

it's easier for me to go 270 out if i go switch on cuz my body just kinda carries me that way, its kinda weird

me too left foot forward. i wanna learn 270 out too, is it easier to go out spinning left or right

off jumps i spin left

it matters which way u grind????? HOW?

my right foot forward 270s out arent easier than my left foot forward ones.......????/

It shouldn't matter what foot forward you are at all. Frontside 270 out is incredibly easy. Just pop and turn your shoulders. Dont think about it too much or you won't even get the whole rail. Just slide and let it come around.

yea man i doubt u wanna do them blindside...(landing regular)...u would want to do them frontside first of all(landing switch)...ok...me personally, i found them super easy, in fact i did it first try on a super small rail...but anyways...when u are comming to the end of th rail...DONT turn your shoulders like u usually would...u are going to want to bend your knees, and when u come to about 1 foot-half a foot to the end of the rail, pop, and use your arms to swing you (dont worry about style yet) and just jkeep looking like doingt a 360...the ground will meet with your skis in do time...after the first time u do it, it will be all rlative and u can work on style and shit...a matter of fact i need to work on my 270s out on bigger rials but anyways...GOOD LUCK

like 6 feet long and 1 foot high...i guess its not SUPER small...but small none the less

i go on un natural then switchin up is easier and for 270 out i havent really landed it clean but turn more then 90 degrees then just twist ur hips and sorta ride away iv never landed a clean one as i said

the way i learned is sorta cheating but its easy and i've gotten better. When there is about 3ft of rail left you start looking which ever way u spin. Just spin your body on the rail, dont even pop, if you time it right and theres a nice drop then you'll spin off.

its doesnt matter what foot is forward when u slide. for me, i slide right foot forward.

to 270 off (not blindside, where you come out regular), you'll be spinning or sliding unnatty, most of the time. if u slide unnaty, u can spin off naturally. i find it easier to slide normal and spin unnatturally. so what you do is find a rail with a lil drop off the end (bigger the drop= easier to get full rotation off but harder falls). Pop the full 90 onto the rail (well say for me, sliding right foot first). Do the rail normally, with your shoulders parallel to the rail and just your head looking at the end. As you get near the end of the rail like 1 or 2 feet, turn your shoulders so you are looking straight down the hill. Pop off a little bit, and spin. since your shoulders all already turned 90, is basically a 1 out, landing switch.

so for me, i slide the rail right foot first(natural), but spin out clockwise (unnatural)

blindside is when your spinning AND sliding naturally, most of the time. This one is harder cuz u have to spin'up' the hill so its harder to set the roation, and you have to pop more. i used to always only get 180, then biff and smack my head on the ground. so for me, blindside would be slide right foot first and spin clockwise off.

spinning left, left foot forward: easiest to spin left.

its easier to 270 off as well, because you are spinning naturally the entire time and you arent blind. guide yourself with your right hand and shoulder and it should come around. go a little faster, pop a little harder off, and spin a little harder to bring it to 450 off

this is bad advise for beginners, but do a 270 on and your momentum will automaticly carry you around to 270 out
