270 onto down rails

I can always make the rotation but I always slip off to the side or back, what am I doing wrong or how can I get my balance back as soon as I hit the rail.

I don't want to keep bruising my legs on metal, guys. Help!

are you good at sliding rails unnaty? if not work on that first and you'll be used to leaning forward more

try approaching from a little bit of a different angle.. and figure out where exaclty you need to be lined up..

dude just pop as hard as you can because when you have a lot of air you can adjust your body to lean more forward, then look to the end of the rail and you'll stomp it no problem

now thats a quality post...maybe try and pop more off your toes, its easier sometimes to nollie and keep your legs tucked up.then once you get rotation quickly widen your stance and put your weight on your front foot

You should just lean forward more and commit.

Try wearing a cup if you're hitting your nuts...adds a little bit more confidence for me.

Go faster maybe. I usually am looking back at the start of the rail when I land on the rail. For some reason if I try to bring my head around it's just not comfortable...but that's just for urban style

My guess is you just aren't looking at that shit and committing! Fuckin put ur damn balls of your feet on that shit and lock in till the end. I set em a little hard of the lip so I can slow down my rotation when I see the rail at 180. Try it like that?

when i do them, i go more into the rail

like ski towards the side of the rail, and point my tips down so it stops me from sliding off

also if u look up to the beginning of the rail it makes it easier, well at least for me

only problem I can see with that is that would make it harder to lean forward. But ya it's way easier to spot the rail if you land looking back then once you're on look forward.

try and visualize where on the rail your going to land and line your self up accordingly and youll find it much easier to grease it

be on top of your feet, i hate to be an asshole but it's fairly obvious, i mean if you slip back, lean forward. if you fall off to one side be more parallel to the rail
