i am scared shitless of em. but i really wnna learn um to add on to switch up combos. any tips on how to do it right? the last time i tried i racked myself switch.

stay squared, pop evenly and spot your landing.. pretty much the same as with anything else. for me it helped to kind of go through the ropes first, do a regular on, sw on, sw rt side, reg rt side... then throw it... should feel more comfortable.

 
u need to go ova and spin wit steez to land on da rail sideways cause fo me i spin too much and i hit my baby makeas!

switch 270s areee wayyy easier, but for 270 i always kinda look down to see the rail below my feet, when u land absorb and look at the end of the rail - and if you find your falling off one way or the other pretend the rail is leik a foot the opposite way and do it leik that, but make sure u don't just go to one side and then jump towards the rail cuz that will make it worse

You know what worked really well for me is learning how to do 360s off small bumps. Once you get good at doin flat ground 3's 270's on are easy. And obviously try them on boxes first.

 
Oh it also helps to be really really comfortable with rails. Like once you genuinely get comfortable around rails it's really easy to commit to stuff like 270's and switch ups. So yeah, just keep trying and you will get it.

 
when u r doing 270 on, rotate ur whole body more tan ur legs, so basically ur body should rotate like 320, when ur legs only 270. thats how i learned it. if u dont do that, u'll fall ion the side while grinding.

just work on ur unnatty slides a little, then i always try to get my head around first and bring the feet after kinda (it isnt what u think but thats how it feels) so i can spot the rail and stomp nice on the rail/box and ride out

sw 270 r easier and get less points in comps so if u wanna try sw 270 first make sure u bend at the waste and mainly knees so u get enough popage
