practice a lot on a box, to spin your full 270 degree, to be centered, and all that stuff, then youll get it on the rail

well if you are sliding off too early on one side, just try to correct that. If you are ending up on your tails, either come into it more from the left, or somewhat carve in, and visa versa. Perhaps when you're tring to spin, your body could be drifting. I know that if i am spinning on, I will drift to the right, so I have to compensate for that, so keep what you are doing into consideration.

oh and make sure you are spinning 270

spin your normal way, but just land unnatural on the rail... i had that problem before, just keep practicing and just make sure you try to land right under your boot, i know that sounds simple but its harder then normal.

same problem exactly.

im practicing heaps of unnatty grinding. i look and feel shit doing it, but to land unnatty from 270, i really need to be able to slide as well if not better that way.

im not to great at them either. but i think a good way to do it, is when you land unnaty, act as though your sliding the rail coming from the jump. that way it feels natty, i know it sounds weird, but shit works. gl

im good on jumps... i can cork and shit... ive just never tired 270s on and last year i tore my acl and mcl doing a 270 onto a down flat down... and im from minnesota... sorry man

just try correcting it by going into it at a different angle, as for the 270 dont treat it like a 360 i find it easier to do if you pop more and look at the rail when your doing it

if you're comfortable switch, you can do switch 270s on, i actually am more comfortable doing themcause i seem to lock on easier, and im both spinning and slide natty.

Switch is easier for me as well. I think its way easier to see the rail through the whole rotation.

You're probably traveling when you set the spin. Make sure you're off the jump before the spin gets going

thats tough, get used to sliding with your left forward. since you said you slide with your right forward, but spin left. so if you did a 270 then you will always be landing left foot forward. thats my problem too.

do 450's spinning a lot seems to be the way to go lately.

you might wanna look a bit up hill as you land on the rail on a 270.

then you lock aon and look at theend of therail to position yourself correctly.

QUESTION for you guys: when you're spinning on, do you think of it as a little less than a 3, or a 180 and then just swing your feet a bit more to make it happen?

when ur about to hit it start rotating, like the split second before u hit it start rotating. once u get used to it ull be really comfortable with it, dont think about a 360 cause ur rotation wont be fast enough, start with box's then move to rails

i dont know who said i got 3rd... but my friend broke his knee so i couldnt compete cause i had to go to the hospital with him...
