so whenever i 270 onto a rail i can't stop my spin and end up missing my left nut. i can do it onto a box just fine, but on rails i land and keep spinning. any tips?

does that mean you don't want a fish sandwich

ok what you have to do is spin slow, slower then you think you need to. You also need a good amout of air intill you get use to them, look down and try to look between you leg. Also in the air make sure they are wide you when you get on you dont fall. It takes alot of pratice and not sure if doing them on boxes will help or hurt you. Find a rail you are good at getting and is low to the gound and hit it for a day, they are hard at first but you get use to them.

not to burn u or anything... but i wouldnt look between ur legs, you spin and u look behind you as ur spinnin follow the rail till its under u, but try and keep ur shoulders parrellel with the rail, kinda thing i dont know... its all about given it not talkin about it

is this a switch 270 you're trying to do or a blindside 270?

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

try to stop the spin with your shoulders

dont even think 270, get your shoulders to 180 and bring your skis around to 270 and rotate your shoulders around as you slide the rail

Ds has it right on. just watch some of Tanner's 270 ons, he does them perfectly and exactly like Ds explained.

it's a lot smoother if you do complete the 270 with your whole bodie tho ( way harder but looks way better)

if you continue on spinning, it's because you have bo control on your spin or/and on your railslide.

to get the crrect amount of spin, i suggest you to do some on snow 270 at super low speed and work on keeping the ski sideway for a while, that will help you in the process of setting the rigmount of spin, you might also want to draw a line on the snow and try to land with the land in the middle of your boots so you'll also learn to get straight onto the rail when you'll try it on the rail.

i find it easiest when you fire down a rock of crack, then come in switch, swing yer poles once, butter a 720, then spin on with yer eyes closed and just feel for the rail. it'll come to you, jsut takes practice...

definitely do what he said above about only doing 180(with your body) and letting your feet do the actual 270. it makes complete sense

I'll stick my renob in your elohssa

i learnt 270s by throwing 3s of the side of the jump to my rail, then i just did the same thing but landed on the rail. I still cant do them that well tho because im not good at sliding unnaty
