270 on help

I can never get a 270 onto a rail like besides for having the balls and being able to spin enough wat eles should I put into it to get it?

honestly you just have to play with it, one big tip imo is throw your hips around and your body will follow. use the search bar and you will get better advice

If it's a flat bar, all u have is square up when coming in to the rail and spin the duck out of it. Stomping it comes naturally if u do that

Try throwing it on a small, low to the ground box. Then once you start to stomp that bring it to a small raill then work you way up from there!

This dudes obviously never 270'd onto a rail and is an obvious gaper.

You wanna come in with your knees bent and shins pressed into the front of your boot. You dont have to spin nearly as fast as you think so you dont need a big wind up with your arms. I jeep my eyes on the rail the entire time im spinning the 270. When youre at about 180 concentrate on landing with weight on your front foot so you dont slide out backwards. Find the end of the rail once you touch down and stomp it

I'd say start with hitting/sliding rails unnatural. Forget the 270 for now. Sounds like you already can get the rotation, but when it comes to riding it out, being comfortable sliding unnatural is a big help. Once you've got that on lock, start throwing the 270 on, suck your knees in and delay your upper bodys rotation by keeping your eyes on the rail while your lower body spins around. Remember to keep your stance wide too

no doubt. you need to find a butter box or really forgiving box to get the confidence level up.

once you move up to rails and theyre set up street style/urban the most important piece of advice is clearing your tips over the rail before starting the spin. You will essentially be popping off your heels and doing the rotation with your heels flexed to make sure your skis never dip and hit the side of the rail

This may have already been said but this is what my friend that is too good taught me

step 1 bring tips over rail (so you don't catch)

step 2 then complete spin (looking the "opposite" way down the rail)

step 3 stay balanced

step 4 profit?

step 5 don't fall

I'm not very good at teaching tricks though, maybe cause they're for kids.

For down rails you need to pick your tips up. That is the most helpful trip I can give. For flat bars or gap to down rails just huck it and stay balanced so you don't slip out.
