270 off

I learned blindside first basically cause they look way cooler and smoother. But blindside is definitley harder. For frontside basically just pop and spin its simple, for blindside I like to start turning my head right before I pop to get my spin going. And also try and start turning a bit on the rail. It feels like you are turning alot but on video you can't notice a difference.

aka frontside 2 out. and yes i also agree that they are much easier. sometimes i can get my backsides 2's easy but other times i just can't spin backside out of a rail. idk why....

if your trying front side look at the end of the whole way

turn your body when u get to the end and sisor your skis so u can push of easier

Use your head and shoulders to lead the spin straight off teh rail and then justy let it come round.

i think its all about looking over ur shoulder and spining ur shoulders and the skis will follow.. but pushing off with ur leading foot which is like inclined on the side of the rail helps alott!!

fronside: use your leading foot to grip the rail, shift a lil weight off it and angle it so your edge can get a hold of the rail, when you reach the end, use your leading foot to grab the rail and spin yourself. if you watch a vid you'll see what im talking about

even when ur on the rail and dont think ur gonna get it cause ur of balance or w.e, force ur self to commit anyway. even when u dont feel like u can et the 270 out u are often able 2.

The way I learned them was slide the rail, and near the end I'd just sort of look down at the rail behind me, thus you start your rotation. You're almost certain to land backseat everytime doing this, but after a couple times you'll get the whole spinning part down which is the hard part.

After that you can start to edge in and pop off to spin, eitherway I think spinning a little on the rail and basically not even popping can look way steezy especially if your going fast and just make it look fluid.

Also, definitely don't be afraid to start blindside. I'm glad to say I can finally 270off blindside on command now, but I'm not nowhere near front side 270s off. I think it's cause I have my right foot edge the foward side of the rails, so spinning to the right/natural way/front side is nearly impossible seeing as me pushing off spins me the otherway. Edgeing in is definitely key, I don't know how its described but when you hug the rail with your skis, one \ one /

You guys are wierd...I can do bs 270s off but cannot at all change my momentum on the rail and get a fs 270 out. But just when your getting to teh end of the rail, just totally huck your spin and set your shoulders and pop. It will eventually come around, and then become stylier.

the first way i did them was after a switch-up spinning back the other way.. i reckon thats a bit wierd but anyway.. for me it was left on - fs switchup - left 270 off.. i think its just because what people have said.. its easier to spin fs off and easier to spin natural.. this just combined the two.. i can do them without switchups now but thats how i learned..
