Feel the crisp autumn air

Kids are heading back to school

Soon flakes are falling

Not quite [tag=277473]@BlainTalent[/tag] level poetry but I felt inspired to get this season rolling.

Hoping for abundant snowfall in all regions for all the homies to enjoy.

Let's hear plans, hopes, and general stoke for the upcoming winter in the northern hemisphere.

Go!

Definitely looking forward to getting out on the snow this season with family and friends I haven't skied with in years along with exploring new places here in the Midwest. May the snow gods bless us!

Checking the weather app this morning was definitely the best part of my day so far

Can’t wait for winter to come. So far have Breck and beaver creek planned, whistler and Tahoe. Thinking about making a trip to Stowe to visit a friend so may try that out. Have to mount the Countach up to use this season.

my guess is that CO opens for skiing on october 18th which is just 59 days away. we are probably like 5 weeks out from snowmaking orientation. couple of blinks and we’ll be sliding down the mountain!

Me and [tag=204489]@Cspliffff[/tag] finally moving away from our shitty local is the best thing that ever happened to me even if I break both my legs opening day

Started doing some volunteer glade cutting this year. Some of the zones at BMoM are so crazy if you are in New England and haven’t been you are MISSING OUT. Hopefully there is good snow in Jan / Feb this year

my legs are the closest to fully healthy in 3 years, hyped to hopefully ski as much as I used to

Definitely stoked to hit big sky after a four or five year hiatus from skiing there. Park has been looking like absolute high grade octane the last few years. Ups to the park crew im sure at least a few of ya have to be on NS haha

I hate winter

Picked up 2 new pairs of skis during the summer sales and can't wait to get them on some snow. I'm also planning a 2 week trip to Utah and am really looking forward to that, especially since I'm currently living in CO but have somehow managed to never ski in Utah

If I ever make the drive up to Maine I'm definitely gonna hit black mt. Any new spots to look out for or were you just doing maintenance?

We connected a couple of lines lookers right just off the lift line, so now there is a cool traverse you can ski through the trees and pick your line. There are so many secret spots though, I’ve been a season pass holder for 2 years now and I’m still constantly finding new lines, like I haven’t even skied the trails we were working on. It’s actually so crazy. Shoot me a message if you’re on your way up I’m always stoked to show people around.

first season back on skis in 2 yrs, finally get to put more than 10 days on my nomad 95s which i was enjoying for the time i used em, hoping to make some solid use of my ikon

Killington just got bought out by local investors and now I’m incredibly amped for ski season to start.

Hopefully this means that park crew is given infinite creative freedom.

This will be the first season I will not be working at the hill in 13 years. And I'm so excited to ski for myself again

well being owned by the same company that owns woodward was probably the best bet for continued park progression. i would be very surprised to see private investors match the emphasis on parks as powdr does. and i would loose my shit with excitement if a private investor went even harder on parks than woodward. i think the reality is that the parks will be the first to get slimmed down in the event of a bad snow year and then they won’t make a comeback after. its hard to prioritize when you don’t have the support of other mountains stability (aka the rocky mountain region) like these corporations do. but then they also don’t have struggling resorts leaching on them as well when there’s less favorable weather elsewhere. so its a bit of a double edged sword i guess.

Vishnus came in today, (i got them secondhand not preordered) my first pair of skis over 100 underfoot and a lot softer than my Mags. so so excited to get them mounted

People get stoked this time of year? Not me. The sport/obsession is too expensive it has to be closer to get excited. Nov 1 or close and yeah its on. Global warming also delays me getting ready.

This is my Japow season. I booked flights the past 2 seasons, but couldn't pull the trip together. This year it's for real

I'll be there for 2 weeks in the second half of February. I'm already way too hyped

I'm so stoked I've been mountain biking in the remaining snow patches and sliding down and dreaming about skiing.

The big goal for the upcoming season is to teach my 2-year-old daughter (soon 3) to ski. She's been doing some laps on the bunny slope last season.

well powdr is starting in as a minority investor so that should mean that the woodward name can continue so its probable that the parks remain the same for a bit

I sure hope we have a better snow year this year and actually get some goodspring skiing up at Spirit,Lutsen, etc...!

Planning on a summer ski trip too.

My school just installed this cool ass sculpture thing with our school letters on it, I can't wait to try to slide them once it snows

Hopefully getting back to bachelor this year and gonna try to hit one or two of the independent resorts in Colorado. Goal on snow is just to throw more flips this season

Not sure how you could get speed to get on top of it except for maybe a car push but i thought it would be cool to jump through/tap the center of the H

yoooo i was looking at it and thinking it would be sick to go through the center of the H and do a tail tap with a late 180 and then i read your caption and homies already on it!! hell yeah

I like ur idea. I think carpool with a 5050 to 1 out or something would be sicker though. Esp on a fish
