Just saw that kiwi (paul something) on Real TV drop a 224.5ft cliff. Friggen crazy. They marked every 25 ft off his fall, the cliff makes 100ft look wuss.

Yeah it is crazy, i've seen the cliff he did it off, its in the backcountry of the Remarkables. Which is near queenstown New Zealand. He broke his sternem when he landed (or more accuratley cratered). The most recent issue of powderhound has pics of it.

and in case anyone is wondering...the world record for ski jumping is 225.....meters...so more than 3 times that far...but i know it's totally different...i just threw that in there for fun

It was totally insane. Cratered is putting it lightly, it looked like he hit pavement he stopped so fast.

anyone see the 2200 foot basejump on real tv today, he skied off it, then they came flying off, he parachuted the rest of the way, 12 second hang time i think
