Does the Strive has the same toe piece hole pattern as the Shift? What's with the white AFD pads on the heel?

Does the 16 din version have more metal? The weight listed in the catalog makes it look that way...

Is the STH dead or will it be a Salomon only product?

Talking with some people from Salomon, the STH2 will stay in the catalog for next year, but it looks like Atomic has dropped it in favor of the Strive. I am hoping that it will stay around, they just updated the 16 to MNC for this in-line season. And it is one of the safest bindings I have ever owned.

Dynastar tried the same gimmick in the 80s Anti-vibration, yeah ok.

Then there was Rossignol. They went ahead and just cut the tip off and then glued a piece of transparent plastic back on for “weight savings”. By the second week of February, anyone who skied hard had blown off those plastic tips and had wrapped duct tape around the delamed tip.

kinda unrelated but why do old school ski graphics go so mf hard

You're the man! The graphics on those BCs are fire definitely copping a pair of 110s when they drop.

Tom, shut the fuck up.

While we are on the RIP train, RIP to the Magic J, such a great ski that I intend to keep as my fattest ski in the quiver for a long long time, until I break em I think.

Not to introduce needless speculation here as the introduction of the WW121 makes a ton of sense, but does the axing of Tanner's signature ski instead of maintaining it as small, niche run every year give any indications wrt future team changes as well? Or is it replaced by a new Tanner ski?

Thall has a much bigger stake in the brand than just a pro model ski. He is a co-founder, and him not having a pro model ski won't change any influence he has with the brand.

I know.

The reason I ask is a certain Regnier who - correct me if I am wrong here - was a co-founnder as well.

Anyway, I guess we'll know when the team rooster for 22/23 drops. Thall has been skiing the JJ UL a lot in recent years, so that, dwindling sales of Magic Js and demand for WWs could be the real driver here - not any changes to the team composition.

Looks like Eileen Gu has a 'promodel' topsheet. Definitely a prodigy though. Probs the same deal as A-Halls special topsheet Prodigy 2.0s

Also, who the fuck rides Squires on a park ski at that level???

You'd be surprised on the newest squire that came into play this year. Definitely a wider platform that has held up well from what I've seen. I'm guessing she likes the light weight.

I was just gonna say Julien Regnier was a co founder and designed the JJ and he still got axed…

As long as your are light the squires are nice. I am only 115 so I run squires on my park skis to save wieght and money. I have my dins on 7 and that din is perfect for butters but I come out when I need. Why go to a binding with a higher din if you don't need to

Where is this from, and can you upload/link us to the whole thing?

From the 22/23 armada catalogue. Unfortunetly I can’t post the whole thing yet

Are you talking about current year or the next year model?

Current. They redesigned it for this season to be more in line with the update the Griffon/jester got a couple years ago.

If u look very closely that outline ski isn’t actually an outline! It’s the new metal twin that’s coming out for 22/23

So they are bringing back a line/construction that was real popular with all kinds of skiers. That is good to hear. The Prophet/Influence/Supernatural range were pretty solid all mountain skis. I still have a pair of Influence 105's in the garage. I should really mount them up again.

One of the Utah guys has been working on that ski for a good bit now and he charges so I'm psyched to see what its like

My local rep has had nothing but good things to say about it. Granted, he's a true salesman and loves all the skis line makes haha I'm excited to try it, apart from the Vision as my touring ski I haven't skied many Lines lately as I'm not as much into softer skis anymore and the sick days/supernaturals never did it for me.

Been having a lot of da kids getting all mad about the FT thing and I just tell em to make an FT logo stencil to paint over the K2 if you care that much haha I doubt anyone will care in a year or two.

Haha ? that’s a genius idea. I think it’ll be great for skiing and yes kids won’t care after a bit, definitely alittle weird seeing the K2 logo but I’m not complaining! [tag=109505]@bradwalters[/tag] i love the colors! Killed it g

Dayumm..wonder what mode they’re changing and what’s being improved on it…literally just switched the logo lmao

Nothing changed. It's all identical.

The only real change was higher end k2 boots next year come with booster straps (stretchy double band in front) because booster patent expired.

There is three new ladies boot (Taylor Lundqvist pro model, and 2 uphill boots) and everything else is identical I think.

I see they also changed the flex on the TW and moved it to a 100 instead of the 90. [tag=154780]@tomPietrowski[/tag] is there a reason for that?

Is there a mens uphill boot in the soul shell yet? Tom’s been teasing us with project X for a while now.
