There are some new skis (= new molds) and new mind melting graphics on all of them.

I'm prayin' at my altar nightly for a 182cm-ish BC110.

If the altar needs a human sacrifice I can accommodate...

No need - we've already done a few on our end to ensure multiple topics get sorted.

Don’t know if this is coming out this year or next but here’s the a hall pro model ski.

View attachment 1016052

are these just a different prodigy topsheet, or will they be a hole different ski ? because there is a prodigy logo on the tail and the back of the skis.

anyways i’m super stoked for these, awesome graphics and awesome rider;)

You’re right. Says his name too. My bet is they release it next year like how they like to release limited collab skis

Faction Candide series gone for 22/23

Hate to claim I saw it coming, but yeah... I don't anything else but if I had to speculate, I'd say he's going to make his own skis under his brand now.

That would only make sense. Is Faction rebranding the line or just killing it off?

Not surprised at all. Like the line has been dying for awhile and I don’t think any of their athletes are even riding the skis too. In the roots film I’m almost certain everyone was on the prodigy series

Personally I thought they ruined the line when they made them stiffer. The CT skis being soft were the only reason they were popular versus the prodigy, as a stiffer option the prodigy series still retained way more playfulness than the stiffer CT series.

There's a new line of freestyle all mtn skis to compliment the prodigys but that's all I can say right meow.

New skis, new boots and outerwear. Candide is a good businessman

The Candide strategy

Step 1: Become the best skier on earth

Step 2: Create your own brand

Step 3: Profit

Thought those were Pole Pockets at first. I’m guessing this is another carving ski from Line? What the hell do those things do?

They are pretty much a small counter weight on a spring. Volkl has been using them for awhile now, claiming they reduce tip chatter but I'm not convienced they do anything beyond marketing gimmicktry.

so faction dropped the a hall pro model… it is a prodigy 2.0 with a different topsheet, but on an instagram post from alex, we can see a prodigy 1.0 with the same topsheet. this ski is not a regular prodigy 1.0, because it’s a 120-90-120, whereas the normal one is a 120-88-112. we’ll have to see if faction drop this one as well or if it was just made for a hall…

Faction (as far as I've heard) has a bit of a history throwing topsheets of the series they want to sell on all kinds of different types of skis. Wouldn't be surprised if they made him a custom and marketed it as a prodigy to sell more.

Like, they don't even sell it in a 188?

No way I ever get skis where the tip has anything on it

haha didn’t see that one :)

one of my guesses is that it could be sort of a candide 1.0 from 2020 (he used this ski a lot) but with the different topsheet.

Dynastar tried the same gimmick in the 80s Anti-vibration, yeah ok.

Then there was Rossignol. They went ahead and just cut the tip off and then glued a piece of transparent plastic back on for “weight savings”. By the second week of February, anyone who skied hard had blown off those plastic tips and had wrapped duct tape around the delamed tip.

My bad y’all. It’s actually the 118. ^ I read the photo closer. Damn good graphics if I say so myself

.]^hopefully every ski in the lineup is still called the blackops because that has been super helpful.

I pray this is sarcasm or you may be smooth brained

Indeed it is.

I was at my local shop on Saturday and I lost track after the fourth ski with essentially the same graphics and name

can confirm .. it's called the Shark Jumper. Heard they signed ex-racer and tiktok famous international playboy and skier Ludvig Von Strudel to co-create. Q1 launch exclusively with Gorsuch in Vail.

Steven wont be happy with you with letting this slip early!

Sick days gone for 2022-23. The Best way I can describe The new ski is a mix between the vision in the blade

I thought the company "Rosssignol" was renamed to "s7" so that they wouldn't have to add "s7" to the name of every ski they make any more. Saves topsheet space for graphics.

2023 BlackopS7 pics please.

The actual fuck am I looking at lol ??‍♂️ Is that the new shift?

I imagine that’s what everyone is gonna think it is, but nope! A new alpine binding.

I thought for certain that was the new shift because that took a minute to get used to but that is next level bizarre looking for an alpine toe.
