yesterday was my 21st and like any guy would do i hit the bars at 7

got pretty loaded at the first bar and called it quits soo i stopped at a liquore store at 9 and got a beer lol and went to a party ( i had a dd )

while a the party i decided to drink the pint i got and decided to go back to the bars

soo i hopped 1, 2, 3, 4 and me, my friend and dd were walking out of the bar and a helmet rolled up to me soo i picked my head up.

by far one of the worse motorcycle accidents ive ever seen just happened before my eyes and the guy on the motorcycle landed at my feet. his jugular was severed and his hand was basically ripped off and he was in shock ( seizing ).

all that drunk feeling was gone and i freaked

i dialed 911 as fast as i could screaming to the person on the line.

some guy that looked like little wayne tried to help the guy as i screamed no one touched him, soo the guy moved his neck... great.

police got there within a minute, fire in 5 and ambulance in about 6.

he bled out before the medics could get there

the woman driving drunk who turned and wasnt paying attention is most likely being charged with vehicular homicide, and her passenger is blind due to the side curtain airbags blowing glass in his eyes and he was bleeding really bad.

just what i wanted to see happen on my 21st. figured you guys prly would have the same reaction i had..what the fuck

Word, I saw a guy get sandwitched between two cars on a motorcycle because the driver behind him was texting and didn't see the light change to red. He lost his leg at the scene of the accident but somehow survived.

Moral of the story, DONT TEXT AND DRIVE.
 
Man that's intense. Try not to dwell on it- by the sound of it, there was nothing you could of done anyway.... Just try not to let it effect you too much.... What did your friends make of it? Are they ok?
 
it kinda didnt hit us till today it was pretty bad and its crazy cuz the timing was perfect when we walked out... its too bad tho i wanted to stop the bleeding but there really wasnt nothing i could do
 
thats why you should all have your basic medical training, so you could help out in that situation. Not saying you could have done anything in that situation
 
no i do lol i tried to keep everyone away from him, my dads a firefighter and a paramedic i know my shit, his jugular was severed he bled out in 2 minutes no matter how much pressure i could have put, it wouldnt have been enough

b-b-buzzkill. but better that than if the drunk woman made you roadkill.did anyone else in MA hear about the state trooper killed yesterday? he stopped a drunk driver on an exit in mansfield, then a second drunk driver t-boned the car at 65 mph, and the trooper was dragged across 3 lanes. he left behind a wife and 4 kids. crazy shit. personally, I have no temptation to mess with DUI. besides getting arrested, it just isn't worth it for you or anyone else. dumb shitBIking drunk on the other hand is a true test of ones balance. fun shit.

Texting while driving is way harder than driving drunk. Walking while texting is harder than driving drunk lol I don't understand why teenagers would think that is ok.

I saw a guy get hit while he was on a bicycle, still remember him as he died.
 
Last night there was a huge wreck that killed 3 people from my town. The driver was wasted, and lost control at 100mph on a back road. Only one person had their seatbelt on, also the only survivor, and told the driver to slow the fuck down, but it was too late. The two people up front died instantly by going through the windshield, A girl in the back survived initially, but she broke her neck, ran up to the nearest house for somebody to reach the police/ambulances, then died on the lawn, fluid had built up on her brain. A kid I knew back in HS died on Thursday from mixing sleeping pills and alcohol, and another person either died or was severely injured in a motorcycle accident the same night, and had to be evacuated by a DART helicopter. Seriously fucked up week.
 
In septembern we were driving up to Osoyoos with my class for a 3 day wine tour and one of my buddies was just driving me and him up in his car and the rest of the class was in a van ahead of us by 10 min or so. When we are about 25 min from getting there on the side of the road we see 4 cars that are pulled over with their hazards lights turned on and there is an SUV in a farmers field about 35 feet down that is completly fucked and there are ppl running around and the dust is just settling. So we drive past the group get out and go to the crash site to find out what had happened. There were 5 guys in the SUV who all wern't wearing seatbelts and were going about 130 when their back tire blew out and caused them to swerve across the road and start rolling where they ended up rolling 6 or 7 times which ejected all of them out of the car and ripping the back end of the SUV off. There were two guys from the crash who were just cut up and bruised with a slight concussion. One guy with a MAJOR concussion who was tangled in the barbwire fence of the farm and couldn't keep his eyes focused on anything. There was another guy who had been trapped under the SUV when he had been thrown from it and it had pinned his leg, and one guy that had severe internal organs damage with a possible collaped lung. People from the cars that had arrived first were looking after the ppl that were really hurt and i was taking a look at the guy in the barbwire and trying to get a blanket behind him with some other guy when i looked over and the guy with the internal organ damage was about 10 feet away and there was some guy trying to help him, the victim then began to have a lot of trouble breathing and ended up dying because of the extent of his injuries, I was unfortunate enough to be looking over when he took his last breath... the paramedics ended up showing up about 15 min after he passed away. They got the SUV of the other guy but it looked like he would lose his leg because of how mangled it was and he had a huge gash on his head and just kept screaming. When the paramedics arrived they pronounced the one guy dead at the scene and covered him over with a sleeping bag that had been thrown from the car as it flipped. One of the guys friends who was in the car and only slightly hurt just broke down and started crying on the ground and was almost unable to move he as so beside himself, and all of the guys in the car were between 20-25.
 
Shit like that scares the shit out of me and makes me think about life. I saw a kid get tackled last night by the cops after jumping someone and I got a weirdd feeling. Im a pussy haha

i cannot fathom why people think it's fun to go get drunk and then drive around

it's this reason that i'm never drinking at all

i don't feel like taking any risk at fucking someone and their family and friends
