Also for anyone interested, not confirmed but I have heard whispers of a new 104 waisted Deathwish from Moment coming next year... curious to see if anyone else has heard of anything.

This is the single greatest thing to ever happen to me, I can now die in peace (with my Deathwish 104s ofc).

This would be sick but damn Moment would have a whole lotta skis in the 95-115mm freestyle: Frankenski, WC 101, WC 108, Deathwish 104, Deathwish 112. Not complaining at all but wonder if they'll be able to feasibly support all those skis if this is true

Wonder what they weigh?

The K2 Catamaran was the funniest ski I've ever been on for the style of skiing they're talking about here. This looks like it just pushes that ethos one step further which is cool. Would really be neat to see it come in at the 1600 g range. If it's a dedicated low-angle pow ski there's zero reason for it to weigh more.

I've often wondered what a Catamaran with a Bentchetler 120 layup would feel like. Don't want to get my hopes up, but maybe this could be that?

i honestly don't know why they axed it for the reckoners. I get that the marksman's asym sidecut was not really the best choice for a midfat, but for a pow ski like the Cat it probably feels amazing

What about it requires it to be so short, even the sakana was made in a 181, seems like it’s shape was for it to be super easy to ski, catch free blah blah, but for me it’s like ski blades, do you think this is gonna support the 6ft 200lb guys?

It’s basically a split board that you ski on if that helps you wrap your mind around it. Totally different shape hence the sizing.

That sounds like a dope ski

It's not the size of Shlong Rat, it's how you use it.

The fact that the OP said J118...are the jeffrey pow skis getting a redesign?

Those are my skis.

The 116 is going up to 118.

Some changes in the tip taper.

Skied them today in some shin deep to knee deep.

They fucking riiiiiip.

I just recently did a ski profile sketch with this exactly in mind. Just a longer Battaleon split with an inside side-cut. That's a dream ski for me. I want a mash up of the Catamaran and the Marksman with the beveled nose and tail that comes in a 190 and is 5% stiffer in flex and maybe an extra thick inside side-wall and edge to hold up to abuse. That would be a ski I'd have for the rest of my life

Incrementally getting back to the caylor. Another 2 design cycles and we'll be back!

Was the caylor as good as people say it was? Can we go back to that?

It was, but I would say the Jeffery is better. It's not a truck, but still trucks. Maneuverability is better and responds to input a lot better than the Caylor did. That being said. It's hard to quantify as I am in a much stiffer boot these days, and I'm a better skier. My Caylors were also 191's, and I have not skied something that big in quite some time.

ON3P construction is a bit different now too.

What does it look like Magnus and Lucas are riding here? Magnus doesn’t seem to be on a pair of ON3P’s and i haven’t seen a pair of all red line skis for 22 that Lucas is on.

Mans literally has 2 skis named after him, not that that would necessarily keep him there but I feel like ON3P would do a lot to keep hom

Karl fostvedt left despite the kartel being his name sake. With Magnus becoming a big pro, I could see him following lsm to line for a check. Already so many different “team” magnuses anyways

I can't imagine ON3P offers much for their riders beyond free skis as well, but I may be wrong. Line definitely can.

Kinda shaped like a bacon eh?

Definitely not an ON3P shape, wonder what magnus got going on. If Lucas is also on them, its safe to say its some sort on Line proto ski. All those pics are from Riksgransen, so there is no way Magnus lost his gear and had to borrow someones skis or anything like that so id say he was definitely given those skis by line.

But... imagine if line is recruiting the bunch for a next generation traveling circus squad that would be so ill

anyone know if peybs has been on them as well?

Honestly down with on3p feeding people up to big companies so they can keep their team filled with people on the come up. The more skiers getting paid the better

If you looked at who has been on ON3P and moved on in the past 8 years, you might just have one of the best skier lineups out there:

Karl Fostved

Jake Mageau

Sander Hadley

Jonnie Merrill

Siver Voll

Lucas Stal Madison

Magnus Graner

Im sure there are many others I'm forgetting but yeah

Has line ever prototyped a whole ski with no logos only in northern Sweden? I feel like when they develop a new ski it’s usually with a current topsheet so that you can’t really tell that anything is going on.

The tip shape does look similar to CMD’s ”the it”. Which is a swedish brand that stopped making skis last year due to the owners having different takes on where to take the company if I am right.

LSM pro model? Wallisch rode the all white blanks while prototyping his pro model.
