About time we got back on here. Missed the free sticker sending, 13 year old DM bombs at 3am, and our Ski and Boot engineers hijacking the account to battle you in the comments! Appropriate timing with our 21/22 Ski Lineup just dropping! ?

Like a good friend your skis just gotta be there when you need them most. Whether thats for endless park laps or the days when the park's buried and soul laps through powder and your 6th PBR are the move. This year's lineup is inspired by the days skiing we wont forget and all the cool shit, friends in the park and beyond we have left to discover.

Questions about our new lineup? Ask down below whether just trolling us or a legit question on our new lineup - seriously anything! Ask about the tech differences in a ski, future tech or changes to show our dev team, or why a certain athlete rides a ski and we can ask them. Fire away!

Miss the hype video?

(Waddup it's Jake the social guy writing this btw DM whenever on @LINEskis for anything or the personal. Seriously whenever!)

A few questions:

1. What is line doing to commiting to sustainability? For instance, I know RMU has committed to being carbon neutral by 2025. What is Line doing to have less impact on the environment?

2. Where are your products sourced and produced? Where are you sourcing materials and is this sustainable? Where are your skis produced and what are you doing to ensure you are providing livable and sustainable jobs and careers?

[tag=30985]@Line_Skis[/tag] , was curious as to how the Blades performed in light to mild powder? Didn't find many reviews on that, but thinking the blade would be an all-around go-to ski for the resort skier in the lower Midwest that rarely sees the deep pow out west. I picked a pair at the end of last season and haven't been on them yet. Hoping they can make for a fun powder ski; at least for me here in MI. Bad Ass ski btw, just cannot verify that from experience, but they look amazing waiting on snow.

Ayyy, another bittersweet dude.

What caused the major shift in durability from skis a couple years ago? I remember everything from 2014 and before being bombproof.

also, is there any way the heavens will allow the afterbang to return

+1 here. I had a pair of 2015chronics that literally would not die. 2020s didn’t last half a season

We made it through the troll Army to a solid question lesss gooo! ???????

Sustainability is so important to each of us as individuals on this team in our personal lives, we for sure want that to translate into the brand as well. We're essentially looking to show off what we're doing in action rather than just say it, a huge reason why we haven't publicly announced our plans in motion.

We're on the cusp of true action we will be announcing way sooner than we had initially projected. Something that will be a huge win for sustainability but for the engineering in the skis themselves.

Hopefully this doesn't come off too dodgey as much of this is going to be addressed all in one swift swoop so there is a level of hush to be had as to not announce this in a weak manor. We are evaluating and adjusting our approach/footprint in regards to operational impacts (shipping, packaging, quality of life for production facility workers, etc.) as first order of business, and that a shift to innovative/sustainable materials in our product is at the front of mind through our development process and we'll be sure to share these changes as they come to fruition.

If that didn't do it for yah email us and our Head engineer Peter or one of us can provide additional info! jacob.dube@lineskis.com ?

Yeah that’s crazy, it’s almost like y’all got better at skiing since 2014/15 and started putting your skis through more abuse than when you were 5 years younger. Maybe go back to doing shuffled front 2’s and box slides- then you’ll see that your skis last way longer.

also [tag=30985]@Line_Skis[/tag] can y’all hit up Sig Tviet and ask him to make more content? He’s one of my Fav’s and we just don’t see enough Sig footy these day's

The LINE Vision is almost as light but imo, holds up pretty damn well in comparison - especially for touring, tossing around the bed of the truck afterwards and pretty reckless cause free skis - still going.

Where do you press your skis?

Gilson Skis enter's the chat ? Traded your LINE's for Gilson huh? ? hehe just JOSHIN "no pun intended" LOL. Threads already answering this I see, part they're missing is all prototyping/development/testing is done in Seattle!

Let's link and small talk it up at Round Top sometime this winter ?

You kinda hit the nail on the head with your assumption. It's generally just one of those skis we keep being surprised by. She's gonna hold up superb to the type of powder you'd be experiencing. Definitely for deeper conditions obviously would want something a bit more verbose. General all-around resort goofin and a rouge six inch snowfall that comes once a year and the chunder from the melt out after ? conquered!

Not to beat this point into the ground but riding the LINE Blade is one of those WTF moments where you have a hard time expressing the ride feel, since it's so unique. Why many of our pros have this as the dominant ski in their quiver.

Yeah it’s also crazy that production costs have gone up immensely, yet skis have stayed similarly priced. Makes you wonder how that must work huh... cheaper materials maybe? Yes you have a point about skiing harder, but there has been a major decline in craftsman ship ever since J lev sold line to K2. Which is a legitimate corporation focused completely on GDP, and only GDP.

go shuffle your front 2s or some shit dude.

…I skied them in back to back seasons bud, the used market is this cool thing you should check out

line has had hit and miss durability all throughout its existence. Some of the skis from the mid 2000s de-lammed like crazy, I watched multiple pairs of og invaders blow apart remarkably quickly. But my brother had some Blends from before they were redesigned to be a park ski, and those things lasted forever, as did some of the skis from the early 2000s. I definitely noticed a lot more pairs started snapping after the "thin tip" tech was introduced, IMO they made the skis too thin and they broke lol

Can we have a whoever is running the [tag=30985]@Line_Skis[/tag] NS account and whoever runs the [tag=209275]@J_skis[/tag] NS account roast thread and just let them roast kids?

I back this me and Joey would have too much fun!!!!

In regards to the blade, You guys almost made the best all mountain carver to ever exist, too bad it’s a noodle in my opinion. I think It’s especially too soft in the tip, makes the ski chatter out when you get really forward initiating a turn. It just makes the ski really unsatisfying to get forward on and really rip down some steep groomer or just a roll over. I would love to see a “blade pro” or something like that in the future with a ton more stiffness from the core and maybe even some thicker metal. Do you guys ever see line making a beefed up blade to be in the lineup along with the normal blade? I get why you made the ski how it is tho, it’s probably perfect for the weekend warrior dads and a majority of ski consumers but it just really couldn’t hold up to how I want to pressure the ski. However, I think the shape of the ski is absolutely fucking perfect. I love the feel of the tail in particular, how it hooks up when the ski is in a turn but it still skis switch well and can slash. That’s why I was so disappointed by the flex pattern, because the shape is spot on. Almost the best ski ever... but not
