What do people know about the upcoming 2025 K2 Omen and Reckoner series besides the new top sheets?

And does anyone know anything about the updated Poacher that Colby Stevenson has been using (the Omen Team Ski 2025)? This is one of the few info sources right now and she mentions the new beveled edge, but wondering how different the construction is than the Poacher.

The new Omen Team is pretty much exactly the same as the poacher in how it skis, construction is pretty close to the same.

The 24/25 gear hype thread has a good amount of posts about them

I skied on the Omen yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. I was told that it had a vinyl topsheet instead of fiberglass making them slightly more playful than the Poacher out of the box. I had a good time on them as they were stable enough at high speeds but not too stiff that they weren't able to butter. I also hear the price is pretty reasonable so that is cool.

Second this, I just skied it yesterday too. It is definitely not the same ski as the Poacher so idk who said that but that’s not true. It’s lighter it’s more lively and it’s more accessible at the tip and tail for sure, should be a real fun ski for a lot of skiers!

It was mentioned in the aforementioned 24/25 gear thread that the Omen Team had the same shape/dimensions but different construction so not the same ski but very similar.

dumb this down a shade for me?

I’m guessing they meant the tip and tails are a bit softer than the Poacher so it’s more forgiving for things like butters. I’m just going on info in this thread, though. Haven’t ridden them myself.

yeah that's my guess too. just curious cause the poacher is so well liked, it'll be interesting if its evolution here is even better

yes! its more of a progressive flex from tip to tail, so underfoot its still strong like the poacher we have now but at the extremities its slightly softer than the current ski so its easier to get up on the tips and tails. real fun ski!

I didn´t ski the new Omen but i flexed it in my hands . felt A LOT softer on tips and tail in my opinion ( been riding poachers since the beginning)
