2023 setup

I currently have 176x106 surface uppers with piv 14s and Solomon shift boots (not my fav). Still deciding on basically every part of my setup. First of all, I was tryna decide between cast or griffons + day makers. If I go Daymakers, I’d prob get some downhill full tilt or dalbello boots. If I go cast, I’d get sc ascendants or dalbello lupos, just some touring boot that’s awesome on the down. But I want a three piece boot and I’d like a wrap liner. For skis, I’m kinda deciding between Jeff 102s, Jeff 110s, nomad 105. I’m 6’0, 18yo, 175, going to MSU next year and am gonna be skiing a lot of bridger bowl. What do you guys think? Also I’ve heard you can tour/hike pretty well without walk mode if you just take the tongue out

If I were you I would do the cast over the griffons with day makers.
 
seems like your dream setup is entirely influenced by shit you see on the internet instead of it actually working for you

because they’ll cost you like $800 but will last as long any bare bones armada that you could easily find for under 400. or long story short they’re probably gonna break quickly.

anyways, im thinking wets again bc im loosing edge underfoot fast on my pair rn and then black mango 110s with purple sidewalls. idk if i want to spend that much money but its the last summer before i have to worry about gas money and stuff

Therye really fun, great ski for rails and smaller features. Definitely read through the roofbox review before buying though

Those go fucking hard but I bet they were at least a grand custom on3p are mad expensive. I was thinking fo getting a pair with mix and match top sheet with pink and teal and stock bases. Those are fucjing sick tho i dig the bases top sheet is okay their were some better options

Yeah they were $1075 after all was said and done. These are my second pair of ON3P’s and second pair of customs. My other pair are hot pink with green sidewalls so I wanted something a little less bold for a top sheet this time.

never seen better durability in a pair of skis and my 4 year old Kartel 98’s are still in excellent condition so I’m cool with the cost.

ngl man most of their custom topsheets are ugly. it’s also doesn’t make any sense why people get customs in solid colors? like bro spray paint your skis.

I don’t mind the solid color but a extra 50$ for it on top of a higher price is not worth the already 800$ skis imo.
 
By next season it should be Vishnu keys and tyrolia attack 13's. It

should be my first proper park setup.

Their ridiculous custom order backlog says different. But I'm sure they will keep basing what they do off of the opinions of the three nerds on NS who are on some mission.

Don’t care that kids with their parents credit card order 1,000$ ugly ass skis built the same way as other full side wall skis with rocker. Known more people personally with snapped or delaminating on3ps than snapped or delaminating k2s, icelantics, or V’s. Plus the graphics @on3p went downhill after the 2019/2020 mags and Jeffs. I’m allowed to voice my opinion of their boof ass skis that can’t hold bindings ???.
