Makes me sad that dudes like Perron and Kane only have so much left in the tank and might be gone next year. This was a fun squad to watch this year. The most fun Wings season we've seen in a while. Oh well. Time to bandwagon the Avs so I can be accepted in Colorado.
 
Rip the yotes, excited to see what Utah will offer, hopefully Salt Lake City will be very welcoming to the 2025 NHL Stanley Cup champions

Ya like yeah as Wings fans we're supposed to hate Colorado but I enjoy how locals around here are talking hockey in passing with people at work or on the street and thats pretty cool. Utah never had that and they probably wont ever. They're gonna be another plastic-ass franchise like the Golden Knights and Kraken.

Yeah, honestly I dont see Hockey going great in Utah. Seattle makes more sense (even if the team name is absolutely fuckin minor league) The Knights have only done well because they caught lightning in a bottle and somehow formed a team that way way wayyy overperformed, but I have a strong feeling that as soon as they start to have some lean years of non-competetive teams, theyre going to come back down to earth. They cant just keep storing Mark Stone on IR to circumvent the cap forever... Florida Panthers are a good analogue for how Vegas will be seen long-term as far as attendance. Maybe Carolina. Utah will almost certainly be worse than that. Theyre inheriting a franchise that's never amounted to more than a single WCF appearance since they hit the league.

I feel real bad for Arizona hockey fans, as they definitely dont deserve to lose a team any more than Winnipeg did when they moved there, but hopefully the team is just absolute trash in Utah so they can take solace when/if they ever do get a phoenix club.

haha keep crying. Thats where i was born and raised and i still live here. You dont know what it feels like to want ANY pro team your whole life and finally get the knights. And then they make a stanley cup run the first year. Man that was magical! And you say no one in vegas can skate LOL vegas has had a semi pro team for a long time and plenty of ice rinks. My mom was a figure skater and my dad was a semi pro player and they got married on ice. We deserve this team.

Haha you dont even know how big the knights are here. From the very first game our home arena has been unmatched. I hope youve been to a game at tmobile so you can at least know what im talking about. Our home advantage is insane. The players love it here and are probably more loved by their city than any other nhl team. They brought the city together when they had their inaugural game 10 days after the oct 1 shooting. The pregame ceremony was a special moment ill remember for the rest of my life.

The only benefit of CO as opposed to Utah is that CO (Denver) sports culture is so good
