2021-2022 Mask Policies

I have zero interest in a political discussion or arguing about vaccines. Just curious how everyone is feeling about their local hill or mountains mask policy. We opened up yesterday and don’t think a mask was required unless you were indoors. Same when I was at Wolf Creek last month.

How we feeling standing in line outdoors just fuck it, mask off? Or are your rules unchanged from last year and still going hard on covid mitigation?

Every place that I know is requiring masks inside, but not outside, regardless of being in lines or on lifts.

In Canada, lake Louise you gotta wear it in the lift line and you’re supposed to wear it in the gondi aswell but like now one does why would you. Not too stoked about having to wear outside cuz like you’re outside but inside kinda makes sense I guess

At Sun Peaks (BC), its required inside, and recommended in the lift lines. Lift lines don't worry me cause it is outside, and everyone is already spaced out. Seems pretty reasonable.

I think this is kind of where I’m at. Just don’t want to be that inconsiderate asshole in line. I’m triple vaccinated, wear masks all 8 hours during my work day when I interact with people, do I really need to wear it outside while skiing? The lift lines did sketch me out a little because they’re so crowded, though…

I have zero interest in wearing a mask anymore but ill wear one if required. People who fight resort rules like that are weak people.

Mountain opens today but im going tomorrow I’ll see how strict the policy is i don’t really care unless I’m with strangers in a gondola. We had a huge surge of cases here last year and I know a bunch of people who caught it on the hill

One of my favorite things to come from covid was when inevitably some dumb, selfish Chad got righteous with the staff about not wearing his mask only to have hundreds of people in line boo in unison

I'm not an epidemiologist, but I think the likelihood of outdoor transmission is pretty slim, unless you're literally in someone's face, so I feel pretty comfortable.

Ours is masks inside and in lines/unloading.

pretty dumb outside but I’ll respect it. I’m at the point where I won’t wear one unless am the store or others are just for courtesy.

I fucking hated the masks in the lift line, worst shit ever. I get it and all but all it did was fog my goggles all the fucking time and pissed me off.

Amen, and when ya start breathing it condenses, and it gets all soggy and shit...nasty

Everywhere in CO seems to be masks inside but nothing in lines or even gondolas. Seems odd that you don't have to in a 20 sq ft box with 8 strangers but still do on the bus.

Damn sick, I just googled it and saw it but prob from last year
