looking for a pair of bindings for a pair of ON3P Kartel 98's and was wondering if someone could tell me how they liked the WTR 16's (pros and cons) and if they would be a good fit for the ski.

Pros-

Bombproof binding with an improved heel peice based off of the Guardian.

WTR makes it compatable with touring souls.

Cons-

Brakes break, but are easily fixable/replaceable.

They are great bindings the best all round bindings for high end skiers at the moment. They have te most adjustment in the toe, a solid heel with brakes whic are very easy to change. Weight is good and durability I great. They are wtr compatible but remember that does not mean they accept touring soles just wtr soles but if your using kartels I would not think this I relevant to you.

Can't you change the angle of the toe peice? I thought you could and I wondered why you would need to? Is it to make it compatible for the different soles?

They have toe height and wing adjustment and although you may be able to get touring soles to fit they are not designed for it. The warden is the salomon/atomic binding which can be adjusted to fit both alpine and tourin soles.
