I saw the 2015 Nordica El Pacos on ebay and couldn't seem to find them any where else on the web except for a few images on google. Was wondering if anyone knew anything thing about em

they stopped making the el pacos a few years ago, but the 2017 ski line up will include a soul rider 87 under foot as well as the 97. The graphic is dope! look out for that next year

Cool to hear they're expanding the Soul Rider line. Any other news on what they're producing for next season? Any new boots? A Soul Rider 107 would be too sick...

They will be adding a walk mode boot line as well as bringing the speed machine boots series back which is a high performance alpine boot. Both boots will be a lot better than years past! Unfortunately they are not making the ace park boot anymore or the OMW ski. But if you're looking for a soul rider in a 107 try the patron! similar shape to the soul rider but 113 under foot and with a sheet of metal. Other than that the skis look real clean and simple for the 2017 season!

Really, no OMW or Ace Boot? Sad to hear they're even dropping the Ace moving forward. The Ace boots have been the only boots I've used for the past five years or so. Nothing coming out to replace them either? Skied the OMW last season, fun ski. Can't help but get the notion that Nordica is slowly but surely getting out of the park market...

Which is weird because they stacked there team, made a few amazing edits and then never did anything.... Evan Williams where are you? You're sitting on a gold mine!

It's pretty easy to see that their freeski division is getting lesser and lesser budgets every season from the higher ups that put have been putting everything into racing. Every year now they cancel out skis, boots, and drop multiple team members. As stated above, I've used the Ace Boot for year after year, and have skied the OMW's, Ace multiple times, and currently Soul Riders. Even before they made the big "style" switch, I was hyped on the gear, now I'm not so sure...

It looks like Nordica is pulling a Salomon, and it does feel more like a race company once again. Support the companies that are growing within our section of skiing, and not the ones which are doing the opposite

True... I'm on the same boat with the aces... Might have to stock up since it's one of the very few boots that fits my feet lol

It is getting lesser and its because no one is buying new anymore. The new generation of skiers and the current trend is to buy used gear, second hand gear or small manufacture equipment. The truth is that no one wasn't buying the ace boot NEW therefore they werent making money from it. As for the OMW ski, i think they dropped it because the soul rider sells extremely well, so they figured to make a skinnier version of it that would take the place of the OMW. I also have the soul riders, OMW, patron, and enforcer and i can't rave enough about the quality, durability and performance of their skis.

But don't be weary about Nordica because chances are they will bring the boot back in a couple years when that market picks up again!

As for the racing comment I don't believe they are turning their efforts more towards racing even though they do well in that market. Nordica has been a SKI brand not a race brand or freestyle brand like Armada. The last few years they have been doing extremely when in this market with the new addition of the NRGY series and now the new Enforcer ski both of which are really sick.

I definitely agree that you should support companies that help grow the industry, but the problem is that our skiers weren't helping Nordica's freestlye division to grow. Too many skier bros are hooked on full tilts, line skis, armadas, etc. which from what i see break and fall apart a ridiculous amount compared to other brands.

At the end of the day ski companies are businesses trying to make the best decisions they can to make a profit and keep their vision alive.

Im my opinion and from what I've been seeing its only going to get better from Nordica here on out!

But I'm stoked that you're so down with their gear; its quality stuff!

It makes sense, our demographic is definitely not the most profitable for a company such as Nordica to invest into. It's a tough time for companies to exist in our market, I do however think Revision has really caught on in recent times. That said, it's still kind of unfortunate to see the team edits create a name for the brand to now skimming on the park/urban surface. It is what it is however, and it's good to see some positivity coming from yourself.

I actually agree with the statement that they're a ski company before anything else, and they intend to cover all or most spectrums of the entire sport. Guess I'll have to buy some new liners for 3 Stars once they're fully packed out, and hope for a second resurgence at some point or other in the future.

You're right it is tough for companies to exist in the freestyle market and i agree with you that companies such as Revision really have caught on. Stoked for them. Yeah hopefully Nordica will put out more video content because I'm sure we all would like to see more from dale and jeremy. But i hope they will bring back in the future too; who knows they might get backlash from not having it next season and bring it right back into their lineup.
