The future spin the stiffest ski in the line park skis quiver and is also the narrowist. It's pretty nimble with snapping between turns and you can easily take it out of the park. This year they put a thicker edge and base so I imagine it will be more durable. It's a pretty good ski and can definitely improve your skiing.

Theres just a lot if problems with durability on line skis under $500. Honestly if I bought line skis Id go chronics, blends, their pow skis, and the sick day series.

Durability has a lot to do with the skiers size. OP said he was light so I don't think durability will be an issue. If OP is a big dude though who skis super aggressively I would look at a different ski.

How big are you OP?

The Future Spins are pretty soft so they will be lots of fun in the park doing butters and stuff but you may struggle to really carve and ski super aggressively on them due to their softness. This softness may make it a bit more challenging to really stick massive landings and hit huge jumps but the Future Spins aren't a bad ski.

At your size the Future Spins would be great you shouldn't have any durability issues and the flex shouldn't be to soft for you either.

You are right. At his size he should be fine. But I'd still wouldnt buy them if it were me. I've just seen so many durability problems with line skis under $500. Op should be fine, but it is still a risk.

I just got them and the graphics look sick. They are pretty stiff though but they do feel light compared to my old Armadas. Since this ski is the stiffest Line ski, you should probably choose something else if you like buttering and that stuff. I got them because I feel like it's harder to stomp a trick with a flexible ski while doing jumps. If you're not too sure about it, you could rent some when the season starts. Hope this helped!
