2015 B-Dog

Looking at at some 2015 Bdogs on kijiji and was wondering what has changed about them since the 2015 model because reading the Roofbox and blister review the 19' ones seem pretty solid for me and if anyone has experience with these

also is 182cm too long for 5'9 heavyish strong all mountain and intermediate park skier, was thinking it would be fine because it could add some more stability

and from Calgary so ski C.O.P. a ton and go to different mountains around alberta/bc if that changes anything

I might be wrong but I think the 2015 model is the old camber no rocker edition. I know there was a redesign in like 16/17 where they changed the whole ski up. Personally, the new B dog is one of my favorite skis out right now, they are really playful and fun, and wide enough to take out on almost any day (I'm on the east coast). I never rode the old B dog but I did ride the alpha x for a few laps (the stiffer version) they were fun but I enjoy the newer bdog better for sure

yeah the new ones look super fun but I think the older design is still a pretty solid ski and they cheap asf as-well $250 Canadian with 2015 rossi FKS ridden park 3 - 4 times

The older bdog is based off the halo/ halo 2/ alpha type of skis they were making with the 5 point side cut. Going off memory I think the flex/ rocker profile have stayed similar but the sidecut has changed, so yes they will ski differently. For length it depends on how you like to ski. If you like doing weird wizard tricks/ screaming seamen shit or bombing tight trees it's a bit harder on longer skis but if you are a proficient skier you won't find them too big.
