12 teams. No way I'm picking a TE first.

Alright. When he breaks every non-QB fantasy record in existence, don't say I didn't try to help you.

But if you aren't going to pick Gronk, then go for any of those top rated RB's. It's a crapshoot within the top 5, so it doesn't really matter. go with Lacy, who knows, fat Eddie may wanna eat this year.

HA! forget the fact that Gronk averaged 17.8 points per in PPR leagues last year. Sound decision making...

Not a PPR league and Tom is out for 4 games.

I'm thinking Lacy or Peterson. Skeptical of Peterson because he is older, hasn't played in a year, but then I remember what he did after his ACL and it seems like a no brainer. Lacy seems like a good choice because his division is shit against the run and hes young, seems like he gets better each year.

Bell I just don't have a good feeling about. Probably because he is a steeler.

And with Nelson being done for the season, fat Ed might be getting more touches than he would if the Packers still had their top receiver

Anyone else following Hard Knocks?

Love this season. Bill O'B just seems like a great guy all around. I love Bryan Hoyer. I love Clowney. Cushing makes me laugh because he's a full-blown psychopath. I think this might be the best season since the Jets.

I've been hearing a lot. Heard the stuff with O'Bs kid was heavy. I'm going to get caught up in a day or so.

Jarryd Hayne for the 49ers might be quite big this season

I was just watching some videos on him this season. The guy still is running like a rugby player, controlled with vision. He doesn't try to hit top speed until hes in the open field, always looking for a hole and trying to break out. The 53 yard run he did was fun to watch. I hope me makes the roster and gets some play time this season.

Such a rugby move, tries to cut back inside instead of going out of bounds.

Tom Brady beats NFL in 'Deflategate' court case, judge nullifies league's 4-game suspension.

Well, cannot say I am surprised.

It's not over yet, but it's a start.

No, not even close to over. It'll be over when the Patriots get their draft picks and fine money back plus interest, ESPN headquarters is burned to the ground, all the NFL execs in this are fired and publicly shamed, and Robert Kraft bludgeons Goodell over the head with the Super Bowl L trophy as Tom pisses on him before he is exiled him from the country to go spend the rest of his life in North Korea with his buddy and mentor Kim Jong-un.

But yeah, freeing Brady is a start.

Also, something should be done with all the other NFL owners who backed Goodell in this simply because they were so terrified of the prospect of facing Tom and the Patriots again and were looking to do whatever they could to stop themselves from having to piss themselves in public again when getting their skulls bashed in by the Pats. My proposal? Stick them in one of those little space pods and shoot them out into the cosmos with Rebecca Black's "Friday" being played on an endless loop.

last preseason game tonight, time to watch the guys at the bottom of the roster play for their careers tonight.

Excited for the Vikes this season, Teddy is looking like the real deal, can't wait to see Adrian run the ball again, and can't wait to see Harry the Hitman crush some QBs on a safety blitz.

Best of luck to everyone's teams this year (unless you are a Packer fan :) ).

Skol.

Also, glad to see Tom Brady get out of the suspension. I'm 25 now I was 11 when he was drafted. Though I'm not a Patriots fan, it's been truly fun to watch him play during his career, one of the greats to play the game.

Honestly, if you are truly a football fan, how can you not have the utmost respect for players like Tom Brady? Fly under the radar, battle your whole college career to even start. Get drafted in the 6th round. Tell Bob Kraft drafting him was the best decision he could ever make. Become a top3 ALL-TIME QB. Marry the world's most successful super model. the american dream.

lol so much anger over something so meaningless.

Last week of preseason, CFB kicks off this weekend. It's a good time to be alive, ladies and gents.

Do you honestly think the money matters to the pats? And it's not like the other owners had any say in what was happening, it was the league. Just because they agreed Tom was guilty, doesn't mean they had any influence. I know Tom did it too, four games was overkill but the league punishes repete offenders harder.

No, probably not, but it matters to me, because the NFL robbed Bob Kraft for no reason, and where I grew up, we were taught you shouldn't be allowed to rob people and get away with it, so the NFL should pay them back, and give the Pats their draft pick, which they also took for no reason other than they didn't like it when they accused Tom of something he didn't do, and he didn't roll over and take it.

There were plenty of owners who backed Goodell and his decision. I know they had no say in the suspension, but they didn't have to back Goodell, but they did, because they wanted Brady gone so that they could have an excuse for getting their asses beaten in time and time again by him and the rest of the Patriots, and now they should be punished too for backing Goodell's tyrannical leadership.

And Tom didn't do shit, don't act like he did, unless you can show me proof he did it.

i dont like the patriots because essentially my entire life as a football fan has had them seated right near the top. yeah he is great, woohooo. it gets old hearing about mr.america all the time.

he is really good at throwing that pigskin tho... and undeservedly suspended. but no matter how much you try he will always be a little stinky to me.

Yeah, Goodell and many other other NFL owners felt the same way, mad that Brady is better than them, so they hated him and tried to punish him for it. So at least you have company there, even if it's shitty company.

The only stinky thing here is your jealousy.

i have a dream one day the patriots will finish with less than 6 wins. that day i will celebrate.

bro of course i dont like them because they have been so good for so long. of course im jealous. im a seattle sports fan.... iv been a fan of mediocre sports teams basically my entire life. at least let me be grumpy and curmudgeony about how good you guys are. jeez.

Hey, no worries! Be as curmudgeony as you like! No problem as long as you don't begin running a sting operation to try and a witch hunt to get Brady in trouble and tarnish his reputation the way Goodell, other NFL execs, and other owners did.

I appreciate your honesty, and apologize for being defensive. It's just been a long 7 months putting up with people talking about how Brady and the Pats are only good because they cheat, so it feels pretty good today to finally have the world being forced to accept what I've known all along: Brady didn't do anything wrong. He won because he's good, not because he cheated.

Dude is a beast. Just decides hes done with the play and will casually walk across the sideline when he wants after dropping the DB. Hes fun to watch.

Horrible idea

I mean, gronk might as well be a WR. Every TD he caught was from a slot or WO position haha.

TEs after gronk fall off so significantly and there are only a hand full of decent ones. Basically you could pick gronk first but then you have to pick up a lower end RB/WR so whoever has gronk better hope he plays like this all year or else they could be losing.

i was 9th pick in a 10 team league. i went odell first then gronk at 12th pick. i win the te battle 95 percent of the time. im not too disjointed with my choice so far haha

14th pick in a 14 team, 2 qb league. Took Tom and Gronk at the turn. The suspension hadn't been overturned yet, but I took the risk anyway, because that's what winners do.

As far as actual football goes, that was a whole lot of classic bend but don't break defense from the Pats last night, but good to see them win that game without ever seeming to break a sweat offensively.

I can understand a coach being upset with the headsets going out. That is legitimate gripe. What I don't think the players and coaches understand, however, is that the NFL & their personnel control the setup & maintenance of the stadium power infrastructure & communication systems. The things Mike Tomlin is saying are likely patently false. Yes, there are rumors that every time a team waltzes into Gillette, the headsets don't work. Tomlin is obviously piling onto that rumor. I'm sure there are instances of it happening everywhere, and since there is no way to disprove what Tomlin has said, we have to take his comments at face value. But, if this has happened every single time they have played in NE, why hasn't this been said before? Because, the Patriots took it to them. They outmatched them, they out-coached them. They out-played them. They were the first team to lose to the 2015 Patriots; with fully inflated footballs, de-bugged locker rooms, play-sheets locked away, etc. etc.

Big Ben & his offensive line-men bitching about the Patriots shifting on the goal-line is one of the most absurd complaints I have ever heard. Ben said, "WE SAW IT ON FILM." Well, if you saw it on film, why did you not have the discipline or wherewithal to not jump? It's simple, really. Pittsburgh pulled the same move against NE later in the game, but the Patriots didn't jump. This is not a rule. It is not an "unwritten" rule either. Give me a break.

Yeah, the whole thing is just insane. But god damn do I love it, seeing every team bitch, and bitch, and bitch after getting beaten by the Pats. It's so satisfying, so beautiful, so glorious after all the shit New England went through with deflategate and the NFL and their lies. I honest to god hope that every week the team the Pats beat without even looking like they're trying comes out with some complaint about the Patriots, and I hope all of them are like Tomlin complaining about something the NFL controls, or Big Ben complaining about a goal line shift before telling the world he saw it on tape and should have seen it coming, but didn't because he plays for an organization that is not the New England Patriots, and so spends more time eating cheese puffs in the film room and thinking about his next rape victim than actually preparing for what he sees on film the way Brady and the Patriots do.
