2014 Salomon quest max 100, too old?

I bought these new and have only used them a handful of time, been stored in the basement here in Colorado. Committed to skiing and staying off the snowboard moving forward. They look and seem fine, liner is packed out after a few days this year. Really like the shell, any issue with getting new liner? Shells last a long time? Appreciate it.

the plastic should be fine, especially being out of UV light. Shouldn't be any problem

I have the quest max 120 and they hold up perfect after almost 10 years of use

Thanks, going to add ZipFit free ride and look to get a couple more seasons, likely ready for a stiffer boot by then.
