Finished up my 2014 reel. Please look and give feedback of any sorts. Thanks.

I liked it! the opening slider shots were real smooth. Only thing i would say is to put a little time to color correct, I think it could have made a big difference in a lot of those shots. Also, try to pull the sharpness down a tad in camera on the skiing shots, the trees seemed really busy and that may help, worth a shot. Keep it up!
 
Good job! Only critique is that some of your camera movement looked just a bit sketchy (nothing huge but you could work that a bit). and I'd say try to put a bit less fade to black, but overall good job. I liked the non-ski shots too.
 
the filming was nice and the quality was clear, would have liked to see maybe more skiing and a little less extra shots. nice job overall though man

definitely thought about this on a lot of shots. After watching it a lot of times I would agree with you on a few of the shots.
 
I liked it man! I agree with others that some shots are long. The first couple of shots are very similar, all of them are at a slower pace so when you cut to the skier after the slow motion chairlift shot, the pace of the video is thrown off a little. But that may just be me haha, another thing is that you have 4 definite "sections" to the reel, which is totally fine, but I wonder how it would look if you intermingled some of the shots, just an idea? idk haha. Last thing, the shot at 1:40 threw me off because of the black space/bar on the left hand side, i would crop that out. Other than that keep it up man!

Totally disagree with you on that. I thought the clips that weren't skiing were really where the reel shined. Everyone who shoots skiing tends to shoot it the same way (which is not necessarily a bad thing), but when only clips of people hitting jumps and rails are shown, it looks like every other edit.
