USA is playing Costa Rica in Commerce City, Colorado and its snowing pretty good now. Doesn't look like it would be fun to play in.Who are you pulling for in 2014? Really want Germany to take it next year. Klose is a machine.

It was San Marino, that's an automatic victory.A side like England should get at least double digits, poor performance to only get 8 actually.

Last time we only beat them 5-0 so it was an improvement.

England definitely slowed down in the second half though.

 
i want to go to a world cup game in south america soooo bad, literally the most energetic experience of a life time, and those girls...it must be nice to be a player when you can fuck any girl in the country at the drop of a hat

but really, I'm hoping Ireland makes it this go-around. They were fucking JOBBED in 2010.

 
Holland 6-0! They are in the easiest European group besides group E though. I'm feeling good about them next year, I think there's little to no chance that they'll slip up like they did in the Euros.
 
People are overreacting so much.

Really wish Spain would choke so France would get a spot for sure, but it's not gonna happen. Hopefully an easy play in game then
 
I think this year, if we get put into a group that doesn't have one of the major powerhouses like Spain, Germany, etc. we have a shot to win the group. I think we will make it out of the group and win a game in the knockout round. Anything after that I will be elated.
 
I think the states will do pretty well this world cup, I would love to see us get past the group stage. If not then im cheering Uruguay and Germany
 
Meh. When was the last time we were able to beat Mexico definitively? And without our second and arguably third best players on the field. This is the best the team has looked for years now.

If they keep playing the way they are and improve over the next year (as they should considering the team is relatively young and inexperienced), I think they could do some damage next summer.
 
The US beat a struggling Mexican side with a new coach. The US is still going nowhere on the world stage. They just don't have the skill to compete with the big dogs yet.
 
Yeah, but the last few years even a struggling Mexico side would have beaten us. Now we beat them handily, and without two of our best players on the field. Are we going to compete with the big teams? No, of course not, but that doesn't mean we can get out of the group stages and get the quarterfinals with a favorable draw.

Miss the 2014 World Cup. I remember going to the Australia vs Jordan qualifiers with my dad. Simpler time man ?
