I'd say it all depends on the conditions you ride in. Obviously each ski has its advantages. For example, the afterbangs are super durable on rails and other jib features, but you sacrifice the performance of the ski for its superior durability, and something to note is that many people have mixed reviews on the abangs and some say that its a lifeless ski and waterlogs easily. On the other hand you have the TCs which are wider which would allow for more floatation in the soft snow. The TCs also have a cap construction which is still durable. Another thing to consider is that the TCs have a sintered base compared to the abangs which have an extruded base. Sintered bases are resistant to impact so you don't get as many core shots and they're also faster where as extruded bases are slower, softer, they don't slide well on rails and boxes, and doesn't hold wax for nearly as long as a sintered base.
I personally have a pair of TCs that i got in a trade on here, but even then if i was in your position i would definitely i would still choose the TCs mainly because of they have a sintered base and wider construction and they're only 5g heavier than the afterbangs. Also, out of personal opinion, the TCs have better graphics.
