Here is a sneak peak of our 14/15 outerwear. We'll be offering a "Signature Jacket" and "Signature Pant" (25K, 3L, insulated and with all the usual goodies) as well as a super light, compact, 25K, 3L, technical "Vir-Tek Shell Jacket" and "Vir-Tek Shell Pant" (without liner, insulation, back vents, zip-off sleeves, etc). Pricing on the the Signature outerwear will remain the same as our current Triple L, and the Vir-Tek shell pants and jacket will be priced slightly under the Signature Series.

We'll be offering a size XXL pant next year, which will be similar in fit to our ever-popular XL V3 pants from a few years ago. You can ignore the colors on the pics, they are just samples. We haven't picked out colorways yet. We will be offering some solid, 2, and 3 tone colorways and will have some earth tones, darks, lights, and bright colors.

As always, we look forward to your feedback!

I'm stoked about the v3 fit pants! Love the baggyness of my v3s and I'm in the market for some new pants, so I'll be coppin a pair of next years

I really didn't like you dudes at the start but I like what you've been doing with your line each year, you should definitely keep that black/grey colorway and get rid of the white around the pockets. Solid color red, blue and orange (not too bright) suits would be good too, as those colors are always in demand.

I have a t-shirt with your icon screenprinted onto it, covers the whole front, Killa Cam been the shit forever.

I really don't like those suits.

You should definitely skip the outlines, other than that it looks great! Really stepping up your game year after year.

Yep.

Looks too busy with the pockets though. Just my thoughts. It's like they stick out too much or something.

I just got off the phone with Paul @ Virtika. They were having some issues with the site but he says it should be fixed up now. He was easy to work with and helped me get my order set and shipped out. Im excited to see the quality of the gear and post back.

thanks guys.

saw a sample when lesh swung through Slope Style, stuff looked top notch!!! stoked for Virtika in the direction they're going!

^I was at David's and checked out the samples, super stoked on the 14/15 gear. Having the shell option is tits.

so are they not first drop anymore? just Virtika? either way it looks like this will be their best outerwear to date

Why has you changed you name ? (FDwear -> Virtika) ...

To my mind, it's a pity

Sick new stuff ! Hope you will produce some TAN colorway ! So dope !

I have the v3 and i see more people with the v3 than anything else. You need to have more colorways, the customization went down significantly after that year and everything got a lot less interesting when you got rid of the patch work. Looks like you are on the right track but you guys should step out of just different color pockets and get a bit crazier again.

What sold your suit was a vast amount of combinations and something that looked very different. If you do ANYTHING this year, please offer a bunch of colorways, like v3 levels of colorways. The new suit definitely looks a lot better than the past 2 years.

Maroon / red with khaki / tan would be pretty sweet.

The shell's won't have zip off sleeves? Booo

Ha! I have no idea who was riding the keyboard that day but I remember suggesting this a while back and you pretty much told me I was high.

Good to see the pages turning in any case, I like the basic design much better than those of the past.

We changed our name for a few reasons:

1. We were not able to get a trademark for "First Drop" (it was too broad and similar to existing marks). We WERE able to get the TM for Virtika.

2. We introduced our Virtika line of outerwear a few years ago and people really liked the name. We introduced "Virtika Visuals" and made Last Friday, the Apology Video, and This Friday.

3. We didn't like having such a long URL (firstdropouterwear.com), telling people our email addresses over the phone was INSANE. We like having a short, 7 letter, URL (virtika.com) that is unique and easily searchable online and social media.

4. We are committed to delivering only the best outerwear, clothing and accessories on the planet and we hope our new name will show people our commitment to change and bettering ourselves and our gear!

Cracked my Bodum yesterday, which lead to a series of unfortunate events for that Monday.

New press though!

Also, my grinder in that photo as well, which I love, but don't know what it's called.

If it was milk, it would have been 100% relevant.

And the outerwear looks pretty sick! Something I'd consider buying.

The fit looks awesome!

I think the design is very awkward though. The pocket outline and shape of the pocket flap look very clumsy.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Would you like to see only the pockets accents on the main "hands" pockets on the jacket go away or would you also like to see the accents on the cargo pockets of the pants disappear as well?

I think the accents on the pockets make it look like it "sticks out" so to say, not really giving it the most flush look. But that's just from me looking at the two posted pictures.

I think pocket accents look good, but only on the side fabric of the pocket itself, not around the boarder of the pocket as it currently is.

I think dropping the current pocket accents all together would be a good call.

I feel like if you wanted to add another accent sorta color it'd be best to do it on the zippers, that way it's more minimal, but still sticks out. Also this is just my outerwear OCD, but I'd prefer if the upper color was symmetrical and didn't stick out with the chest pocket, but that's me being anal. The only other thing I can think of is making sure you can easily reach the back zippers. Really appreciate that you guys listen.

Please, produce something crazy as V1, V2 and V3. I love your work and this outerwear seams to become your best one until yet, so please produce a bunch of different colours as for example V3.

Stick with solid Colors, with a few logos as accents. Unless you go back to the v3 (black and blue) is my all time favorite jacket. Looks so good as a jacket and a vest.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So get rid of the pocket accents on the main hands pockets on the jacket AND the cargo pockets on the pants? Is that the general consensus? Also, keep in mind that probably only 1-2 colorways would even utilize those accents anyway... the rest would be solid and 2-tone colorways that are less busy.

I can see what others are saying about the border sticking out but I personally like how it actually makes the pieces feel like they have an additional color instead of just a highlight. It gives it a more contemporary look compared to what we always see which is what seems to be the trend. I would say if you dont intend on getting rid of the borders, make the exterior lines a bit sharper and less bubbly to give it a cleaner look, but dont turn it into sharp edges... if that makes sense.

Also if you decide to keep the borders maybe give them a little less offset. That is the only part of the piece that isn't on par with the rest of the suit as far as overall feel of proffessionalism to me. If you have the recources I would definitely consider having the option of borders/no borders because I personally love the borders and realized without knowing it that I love that kind of design... enough so that I might have to get a pair of pants. It seems that the borders might be an acquired taste or something like that, so since you guys love trying to satisfy the broadest customer base possible, it might be a good decision to add that border option.

I like the accent on the sleeve pocket, the rest could go. Looks like some Stormtrooper shit.
