What you described is pretty much what you will get. Look at the tech binding market and see what is selling. It's things like the radicals. That is where the money is. Things like the beast are great but they are not big sellers yet. So if you want to break into the market it makes much more sense to start with a more established product with an already established target market.
Making a a product for the masses will allow salmon and atomic to make good inroads Into dynafits market and also create some new customers. From there they are in a much better position to release just the type of binding you want. But you don't start with that niche product you start wit what will be the best seller.
