2014/2015 gear thread

Stupid question... But are Causwell still around?! That brand had potential especially when they nearly had EP by their side.
 
I am pretty sure Causwell is hanging tough, it seems they just like to take a lot of time off...Pollard is helping DaKine out now I think

Any ideas about Armada outwear catalog for next year? I'm wondering if they are keeping that Inspired vest. I missed to pick it this year, but I fckin want it...
 
I saw the 2015 B-dog ski in my local ski shop today and it wasn't as soft as i thought it was going to be. no pictures sorry

That's because it's not actually a bdog ski. Armada has not actually put the right flex into the ski yet, all the bdog graphic skis are actually just the halo 2 with a bdog top sheet. Even all the demos are a halo 2. If that shop is telling you it's legit it's not, and don't fall for buying it haha.

And yes, I'm right. This info came from Hans himself (one of the owner/partners)

Interesting you say that because there is literally nothing different between the halo 2 and the bdog other than the obvious: topsheet & name. It has identical dimensions and flex ratings. So unless they are rescaling their whole flex chart they aren't changing the flex. Either thay or their advertised specs are wrong. Other than the kufo, declivity, invicticus and the longer turn radius on the jj there is nothing else new to the armada ski line up.
 
My bad they say its 30% softer in the ad stuff but have given it the same flex rating as this years halo 2 which doesnt make sense.

Yeah my somthing was it's just the halo 2 with a new top sheet. They may have changed the flex but I doubt it. Why change up a well selling ski. Stick a new top sheet on it and call it bdogs pro model and it's garentees to sell better then the halo without having to spend anything on r and d.

Somehow I cant find the specs real quick and I didnt save the info on my computer.. I will post it when I find it..

Its a radius rocker ski like last years Ghost Train (that gets handle bar rocker) and similar to 4FRNTs Renegade, Hoji etc..

Longest length is 186 and the width was a little bit narrower than the Ghost Train I believe..so 120mm?
