2013 volkl vs 2014 infamous

I am looking for a ski that is fun in the park but can handle going out of the park and occasional back country kickers. I do 70/30 park to the rest and about 50/50 rails and jumps. I also want something that can handle bigger sized features.

Which volkl are you looking at? If its a similar size to the infamous then I would suggest to look else where. The infamous is a great soft jib park ski, but it would be useless for back country kickers. It carves well for a park ski but I would not call it an all mnt ski.

I would look at something more like the armada al dente or arv ti. Something around 100mm underfoot with some nose and possibly tail rocker. Choose a flex determined by if you want to be more jibby, or want to charge.

oh sorry I meant to say the 2013 volkl walls because last years model are pretty cheap and im looking for a cheaper ski for this season.

They are both very different skis. The volkl walls are stiff, while the infamous are much softer.
