2013 K2 Domain or 2013 Liberty LTE

So here's the gist of it, I can get a good deal on either of these skis but I have to pre-order them in a few days and need help choosing which one I' gonna buy.

I'm 6'00" 150lbs I want a ski thats poppy, good for rails, and acceptable for most jumps and for groomers.

What's your opinion on both skis, from experience or from what you've heard.

Thanks +k

i have the 2012 domains. super fun. excellent on rails due to the zero camber. really easy for switch ups and stuff like that. and on jumps? its really great and holds up well.

They're gonna be heavier than THall's but I think you will get used to it. I know I've always used heavier skis (anthems and abangs) so my new pair of Domains won't be that much different.

agreed. the domains are a little beefy-er but you get used to them. also they stand up to quite a bit of abuse.

Can you say your reasons? Btw, I can choose the Iron Maiden/Recoil too.

The ON3P filthy rich are the skis I would truly love to buy, but since I can't get a good deal on them I'm going with K2 or Liberty

ltes have bamboo core which i like (light and lots of pop). domains are too soft and do not hold up very well

yea they are flexy as shit if you put some muscle into it. and it takes some time to break in like most skis.

i did not find them really heavy but i agree that they feel pretty dead. not sure if the OP plans on hitting large jumps but i would not recommend the domains if you are. they are one of the softest skis on the market

its not about the leg strength. its just too soft + early rise for a 180 lb 6ft2 skier isnt ideal. i also prefer kickers. wouldnt buy them again, but since many people love them you should try them for yourself.

to me, bamboo core and camber just sounds alot more responsive and playful. but i did like the domains in slushy conditions.

what about the Liberty Antigen? That's Waaayyyy more similar to the domain... stat-wise almost the same.

I'm personally debating domain, filthy, antigen, or ace o spades, with the only outsider consideration being the new thall. Love soft skis, but hate heavy skis... K2 has a bad rep for weight, but then again I haven't demo'd any K2's for like 4 years.

id say domains, mine are super fun and they hold up really well. yea theyre a bit soft, but they arent too bad. plus being soft makes them super fun, butters and surfaces swaps are a breeze
