2013 iclantic nomad rkr, rossignol sickles

Hey, I have a few questions about the nomad rkr's and the rossignol sickles and would appreciate any help. I am looking around for some all mountain skis and these two caught my eye. First, I am wondering if the nomad rkr's have good park capabilities because I haven't seen anything about that from what I have read and because I read that the sickles do. I am not a big park skier but am hoping to learn a few things this season, therefore I don't want my skis to have any restrictions on where I can take them.

I also love the pow but I ski at Sun Peaks in B.C and it can be crusty or icy as well, so I am wondering if the camber rocker combo of the nomads better suits these conditions or could the rockered sickles be able to handle it well enough.

Tight trees and chutes are another thing that I often encounter and read that rocker allows better turns and maneuverability. With the camber under foot of the nomads, would they be just as effective in these areas as the sickles? I am not an advanced skier, probably more intermediate so I have to take that into consideration as well, but I have been skiing some skinny old rossignol scratchs and tired of leaning back to keep my tips up.

also saw the line blends but don't like the graphic as much.

Lots of things to consider, please help!!!

Thanks!

I demoed the sickles two days in some really fun pow and they were amazing. Can't speak for their hard packed performance since i didn't ski them on hard pack but the groomers i did ski they held an edge really well. Also can't speak on their park performance but they felt pretty playful, hope that helps.

Funny I ski sunpeaks and personally for the amount of snow there is up there the blends is the best option and even if you don't like the graphics the 2013 version of the blends is the exact same except for the graphics

i have the 13 sickles. i love them. i ski the east coast with them. believe it or not, they rail on groomers when on edge and float really well in the woods. ive taken them to the park and they worked great. its a slight adjustment to hit jumps and rails because they are 110 underfoot, but its a minor adjustment if you know how to ski well. id recommend them in a playful size for you. i went with the 186 and would have loved the new 181 instead. I hope this helps.

also just read on level nine sports that the sickles "should be used off-trail and in powder basically all the time" but they are classified as all-mountain. would you agree or is it no big deal skiing them on hardpack or crud or something?

I use sickles as an everyday ski in Vermont. From trees, to powder, to icy moguls they are great. They really hold an edge on hardpack and are super quick edge to edge. I'd definitely recommend them
