2013/2014 Outerwear trends

I really don't like the ways skiing is going these days... just keep it clean and classy like Wallisch does. No need for dresses, no need for ball-cutt offs, no need for nohelmetscuzizcool, no need for leather/jeans jacket shit cuz iz classy... keep skiing skiing and don't always adapt other cultures, we're not skateboarding, we're not snowboarding, we're not rollerblading, we're not punks and we're not hiphoppers lol... we're just skiers...

I dunno if people get what I mean but everything I see in skiing is copying other lifestyles...

maybe people are mad because I suppressed the "express yourself" part... ofc everyone can wear whatever he wants, it's just getting pretty ridiculous sometimes...

I prefer baggier clothing, though no need for gangster signs or dresses down to the ski bindings... as I said, clean as Wallisch is and so is his clothing style, baggy but not too much of baggieness hahaha

No poles, Mitts, Hat under Helmet, Sorta skinny pants, and Flannels. That's my look and I'm sticking to it. Might add in some camo next year, I'm starting to dig the camo.

This year I'm rocking a Gingham Check Bodysuit.

I expect it to take off next year.

I can feel the safari hats coming in next year along with tall ts over sweatshirts and lot of people ditching the expensive goggles and goin to the shiny black/white electrics

Buy the Bloom! but for real, Jim has stepped up the fabric and I think you're all going to be stoked on the product!

I'm feeling tight pants and slimmer jackets that are still somewhat tall. As far as colors go small amounts of bright colors accompanied by larger amounts of tan, black, or gray.

i dont really know whats gonna happen with the outerwear trends but i personally have been rocking jeans and a hoody for the last two seasons

I do like the tight pants style but thats not the only reason i wear jeans skiing i find it to be more comfortable and i feel like its less restricting of my movement when i ride

indoor slopes are fucking warm, ski in jeans there. on a mtn ill wear my sewn in holden pants and hoody/jacket

Most of these styles have already been done. Go back to the old days with magic suits and huge hoodies and balling tall tee

I wore camo all last season and I talked to Nick Martini not saying he is a major trend setter but he said that camo is going out by next season, just saying

I feel you pain mate.

0:28 for reference. How is this in any way practical or smart??

This years look:

Tight turtleneck (TRTLNX$)

Short shorts have to come back sooner or later, like daisy dukes

And of course, tight Heshy camo jeans

I'm right there with you. Jeans also lower everyone else's expectations and make it so you don't have to change for shit after you take your boots off.

because jeans stay so dry...

oh and they must be warm and wind-protective, too... and it looks so cool to see the whole boot...

I bet you don't even know what it feels like what you just called me lol...

but yes I don't wear them. I prefer the "normal" outerwear made for what I'm doing...

may I state my opinion about outerwear trends just as everyone does?

I don't like jeans for skiing for two reasons; unfunctional & not good looking.

just my opinion. people gettin' bitchy here lol

Well, you're not only stating your opinion, are you?

Don't be so cocky and come on here telling everyone what to wear. To me, when people come on here passing judgment left and right, it's a sign of poor cognitive skills.

Shall I state my opinion like this:

I'm not shure if thee like it, though I shall try my very best to state my neutral objective opinion on styles of functional clothing:

I honestly think that skiing in jeans might seem very comfortable and functional, some even consider them as good-looking, on my side however I think the diametral opposite of all the above?

...god dammit. I don't like skiing in jeans, I tell it. I don't like writing like a sir, I write what I fucking think the way I think it.

Your total disregard for what you were saying earlier in this thread, makes it easier for you to argue your point now. It still doesn't change the fact that you're talking out of your ass. Stop caring so much about what others wear.
