2013-2014 Line Blend mount

Just got some 2013-2014 Line Blend's in 178. I'm really torn between center mount and -2cm. I don't ski 100% of the time but the benefits of center mount seem nice for when I do. If I center mount how much will it affect the skis all mountain performance? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Do you ski switch a lot? Do you want to have the same control switch as you have while skiing forwards? Then mount them true center. If you don't want to sacrifice soft snow performance, mount them at -2. The only real disadvantage of true center that I notice is when skiing powder. Depending on the ski, the tips tend to sink, and the tails tend to float, forcing a person to lean back more, which decreases control.

I mount all of my park/all mountain skis true center. I had a pair of 06/07 Chronic Blends mounted at -2, and then remounted them at true center. For the way I ski, it was a huge improvement, and I liked how the skis behaved more at true center.

Hmm. The last part of my post went missing. If those skis were mine, I would mount them true center. But, I have fatter skis for when the snow gets deep. If this is your only pair of skis, you'll probably be happier with the versatility of -2.

I have 12/13 blends, and they are mounted -2 and i love it, I go in the park a decent amount, and it works great all mountain and in powder as well.

I wouldn't even ride park skis true center unless they are fully symmetrical. Just mount them -2.

I've got blends mounted at -2cm and I have no issues with skiing or landing switch, they carve better mounted further back as well as having better flotation.
