2013-2014 gear

It's not like any aggressive skiers are gonna want a half cap construction anyways. IMO armada's market is park skiers, not big mountain rippers.

Bingo. They need to make a full sidewall ripper ski that's not a fucking donkey dick, sorry JJ lovers.

Yeah well me too, but I feel like armada uses the same dimension/profiles on skis to save time/cash when pressing?

well they're completely different skis considering the Ti part of the ARVTi. haha. yeah I ski'd it a few months ago. It's really not a go switch a lot/jibby all mtn ski. More of a charging/crud busting/big line on a smaller pow day kind of ski. I probably wouldn't buy them because I'm a soft ski type of guy but they are a blast goin fast haha

we all make dumb posts. most of us just talk out our asses most the time anyway haha

The sick day was the only line ski I didn't try out. my buddies say it's gonna be one of those silent killers haha

anyone have any info on next years nordica? I demoed a pair of this years soul riders and I absolutely loved them, but before I drop any significant funds into this years I want to know if the ski is being changed at all (for better or worse) +k will be given!!

They've been available in France this whole winter. €350 recommended retail I think, cheaper than Plums anyway even though it's the same thing.

No thanks, there are about 25 other skis I'd want before I'd consider an Armada again. Armada hasn't produced a ski I liked since my 08 Pipecleaners. My Line SFB's are hands down my favorite ski I've ever ridden.

praxis just released their 2014 line up, tons of awesome big mountain skis obviously, but they now have put out a pipe ski, after putting out a park ski last year. I bought the piste jibs this year and theyre the best, most well rounded park skis ive ever skied. I still have a pair of good old dynastar trouble makers in perfect condition with waxed bases and sharp edges, theyre awesome awesome skis, but theyre in 175s...a bit too short, praxis's pipeline comes in a 181, sure would be nice to get a pair if i ever buy another pair of pipe skis

Saga 13/14

Awwwwww yis

Really looking forward to this Monarch coat, it looks like they really went for the BC/Touring crowd with the suit, and focused on the tech part a lot, while leaving what the kids want for park skiing to the Anomie and Fatiuge.

Hopefully they deliver

Hoping means there is doubt. The Monarch is going to be a hard slap to the face of all 3L outerwear brands.

I don't doubt it.

I hoped the fatigue suit was what I wanted last season when I ordered it, didn't prove for what I wanted. But that's my part, you guys did nothing wrong. I firmly believe that with this new 3L replacing the anomie, you guys have dialed down something great.

You've acknowledged the growth of touring and backcountry, and are taking a stab at delivering what the people want when it comes to the Saga image.

I love the look (style and fit). I'll still hope it's what I want until I try it.

90% chance I'll buy the Monarch.

Well......information is sparse.

What is the laminate?

What is the fit?

Liner or true shell?

Don't make the same mistake Moment did with their 3L.

Monarch sounds exactly what I was looking for this season. I wanted the style/function of Saga but when I tried on the Anomie it was too heavy. Monarch seems to fit the bill. Can't wait to try.

yea i wasnt terribly impressed with the durability of my flylow jacket, i need a new pair of pants for next year, wouldnt have thought id be saying this before but they just may be from saga.
