2013-2014 gear

What's with Armada leaking most of their models for next year pre SIA? It's a complete 180° from the status quo from them over their entire 10 years of existence. I'm stumped. I don't mind it, tho.

i wish i could read some of the stuff on there/have a close up view. i hope theres a lot of lame rastafarian shit all over the ski, which it looks like there is, so i can put this pic on the tips...

Does anybody have any pictures of the new scott jib or the scott tw jib, because i really how the ski is really light and flexy. But if the 2013/2014 models look retarded, then i'm just going to buy this years and rock them for next year

From the looks of the heels, they are Look PXs.

They only reason I think it's him that's holding the skis are the fact that "person" is wearing a POC helmet with a Rockstar sticker on it, he's in Oakley jacket with some kind of Inspired logo on it and is wearing Dalbellos.

I think it's safe to say with all the beef between Armada and the Look/Rossi umbrella over the 5 point design patent (ie. JJs vs. S7), that he would not be riding a pair of Looks, let alone the px15. If he was to go back to Look/Rossi for bindings, he would use the FKS's. period.

just based on that video I see several problems with the binding-there is no flat walk function

-there is no steep walk function

-there are a lot of holes and places for snow to get into in the heel. Could jam it up

-there isn't a good way to measure the "din" since its not din certified.

-the heel had a very small platform

-it was way too easy for him to laterally eject the boot with his hand

Also, it advertised as a freeride binding but you need a tech boot. Most freeriders dont have a tech boot and they arent going to buy a new boot for their bindings. They might as well go with guardian/trackers or dukes.

I like the idea, I just dont think its quite there yet

Gaurdians don't accept AT soles which is negative for some. I have my fingers crossed that we will see an updated Baron and a new 12/13 DIN Guardian/Tracker at SIA. I only weight 140 so a 16 DIN binding is pointless, too expensive and I don't need the extra durability.

Guardian has no flat walk function either. Its only a big deal on long flat trail tours. There is a plenty steep climb function using both the black and grey arms which sets you at almost the full height of the heel. The snow holes i agree with but thats a downsode of putting in holes to save weight. The din thing is a thing to be careful about but its not the end of the world considering the things ive seen/heard about other din bindings releasing. The heel has a small platform. The release will have been set low so he should be able to show the eject motion of the boot with excerting himself too much. The tech boot thing is kind of there as an argument but alpine boots just need inserts and a retro fit heel which im sure will be more money on what is probably going to be billed as a high end expensive binding. Its not the be all and end all of a/t bindings but it has a market.

well im sorry for questioning Gussy. the jacket is 2 seasons old, the boots aren't even tanners model. My mistake for calling them looks. My apologies

That's seriously the only suit Tanner wears when he's in PC and he doesn't even use the Il Morro T's because he knows that the Krypton is a better boot.

Sorry, I think I ment rocketed soles. Either way there is some issue. They are also heavy as fuck, blah blah stop complaining about weight, lololol.

This is the B&E Full Tilt Pro model,And it looks like the 2014 Line Afterbangs, I think Line is going with the neon colors.

I agree with everything you said but this. When my bindings are as low as they go (4) I still cant push the boot out with my hand. It seems like its just like any other dynafit as in they are some what solid in the toe and heel release but as soon as there is any lateral tention they release.

Might have to be purchasing, sometimes I feel like I can throw trick around better without rocker, rocker is just extremely fun to turn and playful IMO.
