my mom just bought the 2012 beetle turbo. at first i was like fucking seriously? (even though i have my own car). i told her i would never get in it but then i saw they redesigned it and i dont really know what to think. its not the coolest car but its not as bad as the 2011.

what do you guys think?

It looks much more like the older style of beetle which were pretty baws. But it's still got that feminine side attached to it called the BEETLE.

i dont think its nearly AS bad i think it looks more modern and its sharper. i liek the tail lights and headlights now.. over all tho its still a beetle.

is it still gay? yeah

does it still suck? yeah

is is still reserved for bitches, faggots and asians? yeah.

beetles are and always will be gay. you cant change that

it's his mom's car.

and yeah i think it's a lot better than the previous generation but still has some feminine connotations.

and it's cool that they're bringing the beetle and porsche styling back together a little bit, the way it was when the porsche speedster and the original beetle were around.

this was a porsche

and this was a vw

its definitely cooler than last year, but if theyre trying to make a beetle a cool car they will never succeed

If the engine was in the right place it'd be cool. I'd still be thrilled to get one for free/really cheap but I'd never buy one.

I like what they did with it- could do some more but it looks much better than the now old, 'new' beetle version.

911 is just a beetle essentially anyway.... and the beetle was a hitler mobile... literally... designed as the "peoples car" by the nazi regime.

That family tree is awesome... VW do pretty much own everyone worth owning - between them and fiat!

this. not to mention it was designed by Ferdinand Porsche himself and the Porsche 357 was largely styled after the beetle.
